Grave robbing is a common problem within archeology. A lot of those that consider themselves to be "archeologists" are simply collecting artifacts to sell.

As for treasures, the Sakura Empire's Watatsumi comes to mind. If you believe the superstitions it's a stone that held an old sea god inside, whomever held it being able to command their power.

That's completely wrong of course, like most human legends, there's no god sealed in it. But it was able to create KAN-SEN without using another timeline's ship as a basis, so it wasn't an ordinary rock at least.

i guess a lot of the treasures back home are the same as here so there's probably not much new to say.

those are kind of like treasures to jujutsu sorcerers.
like black rope or the inverted spear of heaven.
