@shiro
Did you know there's a museum not far from this base? You can see quite a few treasures on display. I went back for the first time in a long time. Imagine my surprise when I realized one of those treasures was missing...
It doesn't matter if it's a grave, a shrine, or the emperor's treasure chest... thieves will really steal from any place, huh? I wonder what else is lost in this world...
Ah, well, where ever I am, I'm sure I'll be surprised.
( Suddenly he's talking about himself? For those who know him, it makes perfect sense. )
Anyway, what treasures are in your world? If you can tell me a good story, I might give you a surprise.

but if you want to hear about something more rare, it would have to be the equipment of the dragonmaster. there's the red dragon shield, the blue dragon helmet, the white dragon ring, the black dragon armor, and the sword of Althena. they're bestowed upon Althena's champion as he proves himself worthy by mastering each dragon's trial, and they hold the power of the dragon's and the favor of the goddess, so they're the most powerful ever!
[That's the sort of stuff Tsurumaru probably wants to hear about, not her personal most important item. The dragonmaster stuff has a much wider appeal.]

It's that easy?
I'm surprised to hear about such a generous goddess...

[That generosity is why Jessica is also ethically bound to help anyone who asked for healing. What she receives freely from the goddess, she must just as freely share with others.]

What's it like living on a star?
I've heard of kingdoms on the moon but never one on a star before.

[
…it’s the moon. Jessica is from the moon.]no subject
Rocky and cratery?
That sounds almost like the moon...
Ah, if you were from the moon... you might be a princess!

Go back.
That sounds like a more interesting story.

he's just a big softy now, but i guess he was kinda cool in his heyday
'hell mel' de alkirk- he used to terrorize the seas, until the dragonmaster himself had to come deal with him. dad and dragonmaster dyne dueled for 7 days without stopping, and through that, their friendship was born.
my dad joined up with the dragonmaster and his friends to become one of the 4 heroes, and they helped stop a war and bring peace to the land. once it was over, he thought about going back to the seas, but then he met my mom, and she made him clean up his act for good. so he settled down in meribia and became the governor. he really whipped the town into shape, too, made it a safe haven for beastpeople, increased trade. by the time i was born, meribia was the most prosperous it's ever been.

What an incredible story!
I'm really surprised!
That's the kind of story people can remember for centuries.
Yeah.
I think this one is one of my favorites so far.
Thank you.
But what are beastpeople?
no subject
some beastpeople have horns, some are furry, most are really strong and have fangs and can really pack away food!
here, i tried to draw a picture of my dad as an example.

You're a really good artist!
I can really feel his energy. He seems like an exciting person.

he's definitely energetic. [And Jessica really misses him.]
what about on your world? do you have any loud, boisterous heroes like my dad?
no subject
Well, there's Kintaro.
He was raised in the mountains by a mountain witch. Even when he was a baby, he was strong and boisterous. He only wore a cloth that had the character "kin" for gold and his only other possession was an axe. His only friends were animals in the forest so he learned to speak their language. With his friends, he would smash boulders and uproot entire trees. He fought monsters, beat up oni, and challenged bears to sumo wrestling.
Despite his great strength, he was kind to everyone he met. He often helped the local woodcutters take down trees and cleared paths to the local villages. He was so great, he became the retainer of a famous samurai.
He's one of the greatest heroes in Japan! Every child knows his story.
( And maybe this all sounds like a fairytale because it is. )
Unless...
You want to know about someone else?
( Like a more historical figure? )

[He'd get along well with her dad, she's pretty sure.]
is there another legend that you want to tell? if it's good, maybe you'll get a surprise!
