It doesn't matter if it's a grave, a shrine, or the emperor's treasure chest... thieves will really steal from any place, huh? I wonder what else is lost in this world...

I don't know much about the world as a whole, I ain't ever gone out of my town, but there's a person who is most precious. Someone with the most pure soul I ever saw. I'll tell you about them if that's the same?

sd[Hikaru's trap card has been activated and his heart can't help but trip over itself.]

His name's Yoshiki. Yoshiki is always the one steady enough to keep me from getting lost.

[There's indicators that he's still listing them off and in one chunk reveals the rest.]

He listens, even when I'm not making sense.
He remembers the parts of me I'd forget without him.
He's stubborn in a way that makes me feel like I matter.
He doesn't run when things get ugly.
He makes the ordinary feel safe, like home.
He looks at me like I'm still me, even when I don't believe it.
He's gentle when the world isn't and tough when he needs to be sometimes even without knowing he can be. He gives me a reason to fight when I'd rather give in.
He's loyal, protects his friends. Probably would protect an enemy if he thought it was unjust they got attacked.
He trusts me with sides of him nobody else gets to see.
He makes the future feel like I can be a part of it.
He doesn't let me push him away, no matter how I try.
He makes every little moment feel like it matters.

Lots of things... A person like that... way better than a thing, you're real right.

It sounds like you've found someone really wonderful.
How lucky. If I didn't have someone for myself, I think I'd be jealous.

Hmm...
Even if his life is short, he gives so much of it to others and he waits so patiently for me.
He's so human, even down to his desires, but he no matter how much he wants something, he never takes without asking.
He listens to me even when I don't speak and when I can't say my words, he helps me find them.
He takes care of me so well that when I'm with him, I feel like more than I am.
He's so completely and utterly human in every way but despite everything, he's good.
For him, I'm neither one nor the other but all of me. When I'm with him, I feel complete.

[No one tell them. There's no way that his conversation partner can see the smile on his face, but it's there and it's the one time he's really related about someone feeling things about someone else while he's been here. Things that aren't sadness.]

That sounds like a best friend, too. How long have you known each other? I've known Yoshiki since I was born I guess.

We met each other here. Ah, it's over a year now but it feels long and short. Time is interesting like that.

You're lucky you met him here. There've been a lot of real nice people around this place, so I'd believe it. What's his name?

How come his life's short though? Is he old? I've me some old people here.
