Oh, absolutely. Feathers are almost as good as fur. People love to pet birds, plus sometimes they also use birds' feathers to decorate themselves through their clothes.

It is... There's no getting around that fact. But that's what helps make each and every one so precious, yeah? And it's why I want to make as many of them as happy as I can.

Well, sometimes it does, but I've noticed there's generally less violence from individuals who simply wish to live normal, happy lives. It's those who are discontent that act out.

From what I've seen, they used to duel in battle, though that's fallen out of favor. These days I think it's mostly bribery?? Like giving the person they like gifts or taking them out to dinner.

Contest of battle is sensible. One should be able to prove to a potential mate they are the superior courter, in addition it allows for the removal of the competitor at the same moment. Humanity's inefficiency is vexing 😣.

I think it's because these days there's things humans tend to value more than battle prowess? Like money-making capabilities and the ability to provide emotionally. Plus the whole "offing your rival" thing is kinda illegal in most places. Makes it not a popular option.

Heh, no problem~ There is a lot that goes into the way humans conduct their courtship. I've been working to wrap my head around it, myself.

Right? I think humans like complications, because they have so many ways to make life simple, but they insist on turning even a simple task into an ordeal at times.
