Then you may want to consider asking March 7th for assistance. I believe her hobby is photography, and she is the one responsible for setting up the photo wall.

Not at all. It is important to know what each of our colleagues is capable of on the occasion that I'd require their services in the future. March 7th, however, is an acquaintance from home, so I am more familiar with her.

Oh, that's neat! I didn't know there was so many people from your world here. But yeah, makes sense. I should probably keep note of who does what, too, just in case.

It is rather unusual, yes, but I have yet to determine the criteria LILITH uses to select Outsiders.

Are you in need of anything else? I may be able to identify others who can assist you.

That's what I figured. It seems that it's random whether or not they pull in multiple people from the same world or just one.

I think we could use various decorations and props for the background, if anyone has stuff they'd like to lend for the duration. Flowers, backdrops, different seats, that sort of thing.

They may be operating under multiple directives when searching for ideal candidates. We cannot be sure, either way.

Consider asking LILITH for a room with holographic customization. It should offer all the flexibility you need for the photoshoot.

[ Something like the upgrade they can get for their own room that allows them to design it however way they want to. ]

Yeah. Kinda pointless to speculate when we've got nothing but vague, flimsy ideas to go off of and no concrete evidence.

Huh, that's also a good idea. Maybe they'd be willing to let me borrow a room for a while seeing as how it's intended to benefit their efforts in taking care of the kids.

It is the least they can do, considering the support they've given the children so far has been minimal.

Is the situation that bad? I haven't exactly had time to look into it much.

[His focus has been on Hiyori mostly and the other Outsiders who were kidnapped. Hence this little fundraiser.]

They were placed in a room bereft of decoration, stimulation or comfort, and left to a robotic attendant. They clearly expected us to make up for their deficiencies. It is utterly abhorrent. Even if it was only intended as a temporary residence for the children until Wolfwood's orphanage is established, they cannot be left like that!

[OOF. Yeah, that is... more dire than he was expecting given the comforts they've been granted. He thought LILITH had a bit more humanity to it than that. It's enough to make his blood boil, frankly.]

No, I agree. That's worse than a damn prison! We need to outfit them with something in the meantime. At least until the calendar is finished and we can use the funds from it to purchase them some furniture and toys.

I've done what I can to supply them with comforts, toys and books, but it certainly isn't enough.

[ Still, it's quite a bit, so the kids aren't in such a dire situation anymore. ]

Focus on the calendar. I will attend to the children along with other Outsiders who have a keen interest in running the orphanage.

Glad to know some of us are making an effort to look after them, at least. We don't need them hating us any more than they already might.

[Last thing they'd need happening is the survivors growing up with a sense of revenge for mistreatment.]

Gotcha. Though if you need a hand, lemme know. I'm sure I can find the time necessary.

I've no intention to dissuade them of their hatred, so long as they fully comprehend their circumstances and understand the consequences of clinging onto those emotions. But I will not allow their mistreatment here to add to their resentment.

[ For as long as Ratio is here to watch over them, anyhow. Hopefully, LILITH and the rest of the planet will get their shit together by the time he leaves. ]

You are always welcome to drop by and play with them should you ever feel the inclination. The more adults they interact with, the better.

True. They're allowed to feel as they wish, and they have every right to be pissed at us for what happened, even if it wasn't our fault. They still do deserve the chance to grow up well-adjusted, though.

[One can only hope at this rate, honestly. Things are looking pretty bleak after the last couple of missions. Especially with how he let his own rage get the better of him in Brasov. That's the reason for his next message's delay and the fumbling of words.]

I don't think that'd be appropriate. They shouldn't have to put up with someone who struck down their family. Thanks for the offer, though.

I, too, do not wish for them to be consumed by their hatred. It is my hope that teaching them logic and reasoning will temper their emotions, and as a natural consequence, dissuade them from revenge through crime and violence.

[ Revenge by other means though... well, they would have to be clever enough to get at LILITH, and if they were to pull it off successfully, at least it will have been done through wits.

It's unlikely they'll grow to be truly well-adjusted, but at least they won't be alone. They have each other. ]

Is that not the case for all of us? Even if I did not personally kill any villagers, I am still an accomplice. To the children, it may very well be the same as committing the deed myself.
