[ooc warning: Religious tones, catholic terminology, all of which will probably be very inaccurate. ]
So, back home I was something of a priest, and I was thinking of offering my priestly services of confessions to those who are in need. Some of you might be asking whats a confession, or why should I bother? Well, let me tell ya! A confession is you admitting your sins and receiving penance and absolution. All that shit that’s bothering you? That bad thing you did? Or that good thing you didn’t do? Think of it as a ‘clean slate.’
And you don’t have to be religious. I think everybody deserves to get it all off their chest, ya know? Don’t need absolution? No problem, but how about an impartial, unbiased soul to unburden to? Feel guilty and need a way to feel better? I can suggest penance for that.
All I ask for in return is a donation. Not bad, right? All confessions stay in the confession booth, or inbox, however you feel comfortable doing it. I’m not here to share your secrets or judge. Anonymous is fine, just show proof that you donated.
C’mon, it’ll make ya feel good!
Amen.

no worries always happy to have a DH in the inbox
are you interested in participating now?
[Nobody. He's pretty damn sure nobody does. But...well, he's never bothered to try either.]
there's no middle man for priests.
Yippee!!!
Maybe. I struggle to grasp how absolution works but…I know that it can help. To confide in a friend. [To be somehow accepted, despite all the trouble he’s caused…even if he still doesn’t deserve it.
Oh Wolfwood…]
I see. That must be difficult. [And lonely, being expected to bear the burdens of others and yourself alone.]
I’m…not one to pry. But maybe, if you need to talk as well, we can do a…mutual confession? [Is that anything? No idea. But he’s going to ask before nerves get the better of him.]

Oh, is this Dan Heng asking them to be friends? Like some spiritual version of playground blood brothers.]
you don't gotta worry about me. i was blessed with strength so I could handle the cross.
[that might be a very loaded confession itself if it was taken at literal value.]
but happy to hear you out if you wanna give it a go.
ummmm silly confession(?)
In a way he was asking that! They can be friends...I believe in them...]
I see. [Thing about being told NOT to worry is it doesn't always work...and Dan Heng is unfortunately good at worrying. It does lessen a little, at least.] Blessed with strength? So your god does give power then? [Emanator...??]
Hm. Perhaps. Can't hurt. I plan to donate, anyway, so might as well.
I will start small, however...
[Deep breath that might be a dramatic pause....]
I do not like Himeko's coffee. It is too strong and it gives me a headache. But I can never bring myself to tell her that, when everyone else does.
She took me in. It's...silly, she takes solace in thinking I enjoy sharing it with her. So I...treat it as a training exercise of will and endurance. [Why does he actually kind of miss morning coffee with Himeko now....homesickness. More potent than her awful brews, apparently.]
Not that I can do anything about it now, since she's not here. But perhaps lying was worse?

[Vague, but totally true.
quiet, as he waits for Dan Heng's confession. This is the kind of small shit he was prepared for. He's been a little overwhelmed already by some other confessions.]
exercise of endurance. that must be some real shit coffee. but a white lie to protect someones feelings and to instead share a moment with them isn't a sin. you're forgiven, no Our Fathers necessary.

Also rip Wolfwood, people here got so many issues fr. Dan Heng already talked a bit about some of the heavier baggage on accident earlier, so this kind of thing is much easier.]
It is. It’s a hobby of hers…she uses very unique ingredients. [No he doesn’t know what those are. Maybe something similar to Sigewinne’s ""milkshake"" ingredient list. It’s perhaps better to not know…] I’m glad to hear it, thank you for your time and perspective.
Our Fathers?
