I hope you have all had ample time to rest from the aftermath of the kaiju's attack. However, it is time to turn our attention to the future. We have been given an opportunity to decide our next step.

1: Stay in Seoul and assist the city.
2: Chase after the escaped Imugi.

I imagine opinions may be divided on this front, so I would like to open the forum for discussion. Please state your choice and provide thorough reasoning for your decision. You will not convince anyone with a half-baked argument. You may respond to any comment as you please, but remember to stay civil and do not resort to derogatory or inflammatory comments. Should you break this rule, I will revoke your comment permissions.

Your understanding of my divinity is flawed; humanity knows war because I exist, not because I was born of their conception. Helping them is a consequence of my summoning here and I task I will accomplish, but do not think that I will not speak at length of the sensibility in leaving then to suffer the consequences of their sins against the world.

I do not demand you love them.

I demand you help them.

Do not use Quetzalcoatl's name as if you knew what we had. She's MY family, and we fought together for humanity's right to be rekindled.

If I have to atone for my sins against the world, why should your precious pet humans be absolved their own? I will hold them accountable, even if you want to be blind to the misery they cause the order we uphold. Even as I work to rescue them from the misery of their making, and from beasts that might be more deserving to inherit this realm!

I would not dare presume what you had.

We are not going to see eye to eye on this, death goddess. We simply do not view humanity in the same way, and you may need to come to peace with that fundamental disagreement.

I am still working to save them. I am just tired of having to split hairs over that goal, versus the perception that they are "individually important", or whatever.

I may not be as intimately acquainted with human souls as a god whose domain is death — but, I am not as unfamiliar with them as you might think.

And I could make the same sort of vow. That I will not abandon you to your love, which has prejudiced you so. It is what killed Quetzalcoatl in the end, after all.

Ereshkigal would no longer exist without her love.
