[ Soon after LILITH hands the decision to Outsiders, Ratio makes a post on the ocular network. ]
I hope you have all had ample time to rest from the aftermath of the kaiju's attack. However, it is time to turn our attention to the future. We have been given an opportunity to decide our next step.
I imagine opinions may be divided on this front, so I would like to open the forum for discussion. Please state your choice and provide thorough reasoning for your decision. You will not convince anyone with a half-baked argument. You may respond to any comment as you please, but remember to stay civil and do not resort to derogatory or inflammatory comments. Should you break this rule, I will revoke your comment permissions.
Keep in mind that your choice will have a grave effect on the people of this planet. It is not one to be made lightly, so do not treat it with levity.
You may use the form below to keep your comment clear and easy to read.
[ ooc: This is meant to be a mingle text log! Feel free to comment on each other's posts, yadda yadda go wild! Also the form is only a recommendation, feel free to disregard Ratio's instructions and annoy him. ]

1: Stay in Seoul and assist the city.
2: Chase after the escaped Imugi.

[ She is right tho he did come to chortle to himself about her death again. ]
But an enemy? Well. I suppose that depends on how much you cared about her, doesn't it?

Utterly pathetic.
What manner of fiend are you? You are fortunate to be out of reach or I would make you pay for your sins this very moment.
[ She said she wouldn't do it again, but the urge to send sumerian fever his way is strong. ]

Oh no, no. You see, that's the funny thing. Those plain, normal humans that you espouse to love so much? That's what I am. Quetzalcoatl made the same mistake that you are making in this very conversation.
You see, we normal, ordinary humans, do not want pity. We do not want protection. We should take our trials and grow from them. Why protect us when there is nothing to gain from that?
She did the same. She wanted to pity us, protect us, and coddle us, instead of allowing us to flourish after our mistakes and trials. But let me guess, you cannot imagine why anyone would want to go through that, hm? Even to the end, she kept trying, even though time, and time again she was rebuked. Up until the moment I ripped her soul from her body, and crushed it between my fingers.
[ And yes, made everyone experience that, dramatic bitch that he is. ]

Humans find strength in the bonds they forge, in helping each other. Both she and I witnessed that potential. At the end of everything, when all hope was lost, humanity reached out and made the impossible come true.
Quetzalcoatl pitied you for you are indeed a pitiable creature.
[ It's taking a lot of self-control for her to send those messages. The fact that he claims to have crushed her soul, that's... There is no greater sin one can commit. Not in the eyes of a goddess whose duty is to protect souls.
He may not be a beast. But he is clearly an enemy of humanity. ]
You have been summoned to this world to defend its humanity. For this reason alone, I shall not strike you down.
But should you betray our cause or impede it in any way, know you shall be met with the full wrath of Kûr.

No, my little goddess, Quetzalcoatl pitied me because she saw the senseless lack of justice of the world I came from. The difference is that I refuse to accept pity for the unfortunate circumstances of my origin. You may pity me, you may even hate me, if you wish, but I am the truest of what we humans are. I am from nothing. I came from the sump and the muck and I made something of me and my people.
Your wrath, should you choose to bring it, is nothing to me. Quetzalcoatl and her people are as gone as the rest of our worlds were. Swallowed by nothing. I suggest you consider, then, that if I am willing to consign someone to nothingness, what I will do do you, should you try to stand in my way.
Gods always, always underestimate those of us without power. And I've been proven correct time and time again, that you always forget that your power can falter. Particularly when you least expect it.

You do not represent humanity.
Perhaps you represent an aspect of humanity. The worst it is capable of, when subjected to untold horrors. One who has renounced the potential that resides within the human heart and yet believes himself to be the truest of humans. If so, you truly are pitiful.
And though you may have silenced her, you shall never be free Quetzalcoatl's judgment.
[ That she will make sure of. ]
I care not what you threaten me with. Your misunderstanding of gods is as enormous as your misunderstanding of humanity. You have been warned. Betray our cause, and I shall ensure you will not do so twice - even if you end my existence first.

[ No she wouldn't have, but Silco deluded himself into it, given that she'd stumbled time and time again into the little hints about Silco that he so meticulously, carefully covered up. ]
I can assure you, the only thing I have misunderstood about people is that there was once a capability for camaraderie. I availed myself of that long ago. Then again, I do not expect gods to understand such things. You all have often had... alternative perspectives when it comes to that.
Or perhaps that is only the gods I respect.
[ which is. unfortunately. the ones she's already met and doesn't like. ]

Quetzalcoatl offered you her kindness and her love. The betterment, safety and happiness of humans has ever-been her sole concern. I shall not allow you to speak ill of her and twist her intents to vilify her.
[ The gods he respects...? Does he mean... No, Set would have probably murdered this man already if he knew of his presence. Understandably so.
Tezcatlipoca then? He has made no secret of his negative opinion of Quetzalcoatl. Does he mingle with such a detestable human? With one who killed his own sister? If so, that shameful god is even worse than she suspected. ]
I am done listening to your nonsense. You have been warned, and I will not hesitate to do what I must.
