I hope you have all had ample time to rest from the aftermath of the kaiju's attack. However, it is time to turn our attention to the future. We have been given an opportunity to decide our next step.

1: Stay in Seoul and assist the city.
2: Chase after the escaped Imugi.

I imagine opinions may be divided on this front, so I would like to open the forum for discussion. Please state your choice and provide thorough reasoning for your decision. I would not dare presume what you had.
But I know how brightly her love of humanity shone.
And she would be pained to hear you speak such words.

This is a truth that cannot be denied.

[ He'd said a human had killed her, right? Is that why he hates them so much...? But even if that's true, this is no excuse to hate humanity as a whole. If they loved each other, Quetzalcoatl wouldn't want for him to hold such hatred in his heart. ]

Do you truly believe humans do not suffer? Do you truly believe they do not pay for their sins? Human life is a succession of struggles. They suffer, they cry, they die.

Please do not let your anger and hatred cloud your judgment. My friend saw something beautiful in you, and I shall not allow for her love to be consumed and become a beast.

And you believe they are not paying for their sins? Everyday, they suffer the consequences of what they have done. Children who carry no sins of their own are born in a world where suffering awaits them.

... But that's a lost cause, isn't it? Besides, she's too tired right now to properly express herself. She just wants to sleep and here she is arguing with two gods as to why it's bad to let humans die. ]

We are not going to see eye to eye on this, death goddess. We simply do not view humanity in the same way, and you may need to come to peace with that fundamental disagreement.

I am still working to save them. I am just tired of having to split hairs over that goal, versus the perception that they are "individually important", or whatever.

I may not be as intimately acquainted with human souls as a god whose domain is death — but, I am not as unfamiliar with them as you might think.

And I could make the same sort of vow. That I will not abandon you to your love, which has prejudiced you so. It is what killed Quetzalcoatl in the end, after all.
