Some might call it stubbornness, but I think being self assured enough that you stick to your guns no matter what other people say is admirable. You don't seem like the type who could easily be pressured into doing something you didn't want to do.

Yes. She was killed. We'd only been friends for a short time in that loop, so I wanted to make sure I didn't forget her.

Yeah! Though I guess that's an exaggeration a bit. Takumi traveled back in time to try and fix things that went wrong in his first experience of our hundred days, so this would only really be the first time things looped and hopefully the only one.

I don't think I even know where to begin with that explanation.

Of course. We all had trouble believing him at first too. But the evidence of things he already knew about kept adding up, and plus... Having gotten to know him, I don't think he would lie about something like that.

That was exactly the reason he gave, yes! One of our former teammates killed our commanding officer early on which left us in the dark about a lot of things, and resulted in several of us dying. He had the chance to do it over, so he did, starting with preventing that murder.

[Now whether things were actually improved.... Irrelevant.]

...Honestly, that sounds like a disaster waiting to happen.

I don't think a "do-over" is possible. It can't be that simple.
