I feel like being such a small group we're missing out on the potential of an anonymous message board, so I'm making it happen!!

Of course. We all had trouble believing him at first too. But the evidence of things he already knew about kept adding up, and plus... Having gotten to know him, I don't think he would lie about something like that.

That was exactly the reason he gave, yes! One of our former teammates killed our commanding officer early on which left us in the dark about a lot of things, and resulted in several of us dying. He had the chance to do it over, so he did, starting with preventing that murder.

[Now whether things were actually improved.... Irrelevant.]

I don't think a "do-over" is possible. It can't be that simple.

Obviously it didn't go how he planned. In fact, things ended up playing out radically differently than his first hundred days, and arguably a lot worse? I suppose that's the butterfly effect for you.
