[In a picture perfect seiza, Yugamu waves politely to start the video.]
Hello, everyone! I've spoken to a few of you already, but I wanted to try and make a more professional first impression!
[Putting his hand down primly on his lap, and smiling brightly in a way that could not possibly prepare you for what he's about to say;]
My name is Yugamu Omokage, and while I'm a professional assassin, currently, my goal is to become a doctor! If anyone has any tips on how to best further my education, I'd love to hear it! That said, if any of you are personally offended by Dr Spim's conscientious bedside manner like Mr. Silco, I'm happy to provide an alternative, I have lots of hands on surgical experience!
[This absolutely needless shot at Silco is offered completely blithely like it's funny to him, rather than a genuine mean spirited critique of the man.]
The other thing I'd like to ask after is information about the kaiju. I know there's some on public record, but I'm curious to get more personal accounts, particularly if anyone else has tried taking them apart or tested any toxins on them!
In any case, I look forward to working with all of you! My previous monster killing experience was with people my age so I hope to learn a lot here.

Sorry, I meant like a date. Romantically. I've never met someone who's understood the appeal of livers before as deeply as you.
no subject
Um..
[ usually it's the opposite response?? When he starts talking like this? ]
I mean, you don't.. really know me. I'm not sure if it'll be worth your time.
[ buddy.. ]
I was just talking about what organs are best to eat, because I specialize in monster cuisine.

The whole point of a date is to get to know someone better that you're interested in!
And I definitely want to hear more about your specialty!! Have you eaten the kaiju here? I was already wondering if they were edible.
no subject
I have eaten a lot of monsters here. Some have turned into dust or sand when they were defeated so.. I couldn’t exactly eat those. I’m a little sad about that.
Like the one in Transylvania.. it died right before me then turned into ashes. I was looking forward to trying it.
It also talked to me when it died.
no subject
As in it spontaneously combusted which rendered it into ash or it simply disintegrated?
1/2
It gave up its spirit when I drove my sword through it, but it pulled me close and it said.. this won't be the last you see of us. Then it fell to the ground and turned into dust.

[ very matter-of-factly ]
Besides, it did horrible things to us. Anyway, I'm disappointed it didn't at least have some kind of flavor. I could have made a seasoning out of it.
no subject
Well, I suppose you'd know better than me!
Have you tried eating the kaiju that have been popping up on the beach lately? I'm wondering if they taste like the seafood they resemble.
no subject
[ suddenly forgetting about the fact he was just asked out on a date and was trying to avoid that, nothing matters if this person wants to eat monster meals. ]
no subject
I could eat!! And who am I to pass up the chance to try the cooking of an expert?

Where do you want to meet?

Meeting in the cafeteria makes sense. I’ll be down there soon! I’m pretty tall and have short blonde hair. I’ll sit near the entrance.

You must be Laios! You're as handsome as I had hoped.
no subject
Oh! Um, hi. I’m Laios, yes. Uh, thank you.
[ steers the focus away from him don’t perceive him ]
These are manta rays that I was able to fish for. I think they are, at least. Some of them started growing legs. But I have eaten a lot of things that come out of the rifts here. You shouldn’t worry about it being unsafe.
no subject
I'd been wondering if they were safe to eat, so you coming in with experience is great.
[That said;]
Though I don't think I've ever even had regular ray meat before, now that I think about it.
no subject
[ yet. But oh, he looks so happy to be talking about all of this. ]
I hunt the lesser kaiju on a regular basis, but you can find them.. um.. on the market, too.
[ the black market.. he has some shady connections to get his monster meat. ]
They are a rarity here, but to me, a monster, especially a big one, produces a lot of resources that shouldn’t go to waste. If you have any questions about the kaiju here or anything about monster cuisine, I’ll be happy to talk to you about it.
I think you said your name but.. um. I forgot it already. I’m really sorry, I think I was just focused on everything else.
no subject
It's Yugamu! Make sure you remember it now that we have a shared interest.
[Teasing lightly. If there's a market for the meat, it's surely safe to eat, he reasons.]
Do you ever try eating it raw? Not that I'm against what you've prepared, of course.
no subject
[ He hasn’t started eating his food because he is waiting for Yugamu to start. ]
No, I haven’t. I have eaten raw monster before, though, back home.. and it wasn’t a pleasant experience. It was the worst stomach pain I have ever endured. What I ate was a giant parasite that we discovered inside of a kraken. I actually liked the parasite flavor over the kraken. I don’t like cephalopods very much, I guess.
no subject
Haha, well, that just sounds like bad luck. I'll have to introduce you to properly prepared raw meat sometime as thanks for this.
[Speaking of, time to dig in before it gets cold!!]
It's got a chew to it almost more like eating squid than fish, and a strong flavor, but it's nice! Especially with the texture and flavor of the panko frying.
