out of curiosity: would you pay to cuddle or nap with a furry animal, if you had the option? if you didn't have to do any cleanup and you're assured they won't have rabies or anything like that.

i've met enough people who seem to want physical comfort of this type, so i thought i might ask.

that's a lot of dogs. energetic breeds too, your family must've had a lot of fun wrangling them in.

what other animals did you have? were you like a farmhouse family?

My dad is the chief of the village that I grew up in, so we had a bunch of animals. It was a farm!

All sorts of livestock you could think of, but the dogs were my favorite. We had sheep, cats, horses, chickens, pigs. The dogs, they taught me a lot of survival skills which I use today. Have you ever been to a farm that had a lot of animals?

that's wonderful, honestly. i've never lived on a farm before, though i've visited a few.

i've been to a zoo. it's not the same thing, though. but i take care of some animals myself, so i know how busy things can get when there's a lot of animals to mind. i read that horses are pretty difficult to look after if you don't have enough space for them to run around, is that true?
