out of curiosity: would you pay to cuddle or nap with a furry animal, if you had the option? if you didn't have to do any cleanup and you're assured they won't have rabies or anything like that.

I think you're misunderstanding. The Fox Devil will form a contract with me, so we are temporary allies, but that does not mean I can command or train him outside of that. I feed him, and he eats other Devils for me.

I think you're imagining something more serious than it is in my world. The terms are fine with me, and agreed as soon as it's made.

how serious does it need to be? it's a demon spirit. even small contracts can change the trajectory of your life. people are terrible at gauging what their lives are truly worth. no deal with any spirit is ever truly equitable if they get to decide the balance.
