I hope you have all had ample time to rest from the aftermath of the kaiju's attack. However, it is time to turn our attention to the future. We have been given an opportunity to decide our next step.

1: Stay in Seoul and assist the city.
2: Chase after the escaped Imugi.

I imagine opinions may be divided on this front, so I would like to open the forum for discussion. Please state your choice and provide thorough reasoning for your decision. You will not convince anyone with a half-baked argument. You may respond to any comment as you please, but remember to stay civil and do not resort to derogatory or inflammatory comments. That's right. And not only their support, but that of people elsewhere. Countries we will visit in the future may not be so hospitable if they hear tales of how we abandoned the people here.

I am conflicted. My mana reserves are spent and there is not enough time for me to replenish them. I would be more useful in staying here.

However, defying the order would weaken LILITH's authority. There are individuals amongst us who would, I fear, take advantage of this opportunity to sow chaos and destabilize our efforts.

[ And she's not talking about the people who vote for "chase." She has just talked to people whom she suspects may be enemies of humanity. It is worrisome they were summoned here in the first place, that alone is justification enough to defy LILITH's authority. But right now would be giving those individuals a chance to jeopardize the entirety of their operation. ]

A month. [She knows how it sounds, but there's a good reason why it takes that long. A divine spirit's needs are in a category of their own.] There are multiple ways to make it faster. The most efficient and lasting solution would be for me to find someone to establish a contract with.

[ The problem is that a master-servant relationship could be very taxing on the one providing mana... And if this works as it would in her world, she needs someone she can trust unconditionally. She's not giving three command spells and access to her dreams to just anyone! ]

Temporary solutions exist, but I would never stoop as low as to kill humans for mana. [She bets Tezcatlipoca would, if he even has mana problems to begin with.] There is another way, but it is so disgraceful, so undignified and so unbelievably shameful I refuse to even acknowledge it as a possibility.

(It sounds similar to how things work back home for him, though, he's not as dependent on the saniwa for power. He can sustain himself fine and doesn't need their power to fight. If anything, he only needs their power to heal or grow stronger.

The more she continues, the more difficult their situation sounds, though. From what he knows about Ereshkigal, he can't imagine her killing a human to steal their mana (power?).
