VIDEO | @CHAINSMOKER

( this is what you wanted to be greeted with when opening the network, right? a woman sat on an unmade bed with her legs crossed ankle over knee, ashtray full on a bedside table, looking about as enthused as a rock as she's so very clearly scrolls through some searches. )

So, video games.

( great opening line. didn't even introduce herself. )

I get what they are from looking it up, but what's the point in some of these? PowerWash Simulator? Farming Simulator 56? American Truck Simulator? You could just go outside and do some of this.

( is she smoking inside her bedroom? also yes. sorry if that gets into the vents, redemption team. )

... I also need suggestions for games. And no, I don't have experience in it which means I don't have enough to make a preference with.

Outside? The garden?

[A pause.]

Oh, and about your question - I started playing these games called RPGs. Try a few.

I'm going through some classics: the first two games in the Ultimate Illusion series, though you need a guide to understand some of the mechanics, Dragon Test, I'm enjoying Time Gun, but the online shops should have newer and popular stuff. I like the first one most since the magic system is pretty similar to what I have at home.

[Funny. It's like FFI and Dungeons and Dragons were based on the same basic set of rules.]

Yeah! There's bits of the world that you wouldn't think of explore, or the battle system is so complex that you need a chart. It's so much fun.

[Nerds. It's all nerds that are into this.]

Yes?

I guess you don't think that's fun?
