I've found myself with somewhat of a slow day today so I thought I'd take the opportunity to get a few of my questions answered.
Is there anything you particularly miss from your home? Or something that make it unique and different from any other place you've been? I doubt we'll get the chance to visit our homes for an extended period any time soon or else I'd just visit and see for myself. As it stands, I'll have to settle for the next best thing.
No need to reply if you're feeling shy but I really would appreciate any answers you're willing to give.
Oh, and before I forget. I received an image awhile back that I was unable to decipher on my own. If someone would be so kind as to explain the meaning behind it, I would be ever so grateful.

[ thanks ren, he still doesn't know wtf it means. ]

... ]
Some of them would have pretty conflicting feelings about it.

Because of being brought here against their will? Or because they have more urgent duties to attend to?
[ He hasn't forgotten the whole weird dealio with her library. ]

Both. I can only imagine the scolding I'd get for... you know. Living so freely.
[ and under the name she has no less!
...
what would they think of that? ]
But I don't see a point in squandering time if I have it. If I've been given a chance to experience things I've never experienced before, why would I deny myself that?

[ Y'all are making this city sound absolutely fucking awful. ]
no subject
No! Not at all! We all have hobbies we like and things we do in our downtime, we live as much as we can there, but...
[ how to put it? after all-- ]
It relates to that thing I can't tell you. It's very, very important, and I know some of of them would see this as a waste of time. They're just that kind of people, you know?

Still, I don't think rounding yourself out as a person is a bad experience. How else will you be able to understand the viewpoints of others different from yourself?

It's selfish, but I wish they were here. It's kind of lonely without them.
I've definitely met people that I click with of course, but it's different.
[ especially seeing too of them here but it isn't the same. she's miserable. she's lonely. she misses them badly, the boys and hod, but sitting in the same room as either yesod and netzach... just makes her feel like there's a kind of distance. done by herself, maybe, a bridge she could cross but hesitates at the first board. ]
How about you?

Nothing wrong with admitting your wants, even if they are selfish. I won't wish for their arrival here, but I do hope you're able to see them again somehow.
[ Surely there must be some intersection of the two..... ]
Are you asking me what I miss?

[ spill it hotshot. ]

There's a cafe that makes the most delightful tea pastries. I haven't been able to find anything that matches up to it here.

Really? I have a friend who cooks *really* well, maybe if you describe what it's like I can get him to give it a shot.

she hasn't seen him do it yet, so... maybe he isn't... but--! ]
I'm confident he can manage! (*’∀’人)♥ Everything he makes is so tasty, and he's really talented, and I'm sure he'd love to pick up a new set of skills if he doesn't know how to already! And are you really gonna say no to free food?
no subject
Sounds like you're quite the fan of his. Alright, I'll bite. What's his name?
no subject
You could say I'm his biggest! He's gonna set up a shop sooner than later, and I'm making sure to be a regular when he does... It's Kaito Nagano.
[ don't worry buddy... she's gonna get you sooooooo many customers. look at her, networking. making friends of friends. getting sweet deals for cooking. ]
no subject
I hope he plans on giving you a discount whenever he opens up shop, for your continued support.
no subject
Right? I think he should! (‐^▽^‐)Tell me how it goes sometime, okay? I'd like to try them too!
What's your world like, anyway? You know a bit about mine, but I'd like to hear about your home, too.

So just Fontaine is fine, if you don't mind.
no subject
Well, to summarize an article I once read in The Steambird, Fontaine sits in the center of all Teyvat and is the source of all water on the continent. If you like the ocean you'd probably like Fontaine, though we certainly have a wide variety of cuisine and shopping as well.

I can't say I'm too much of an expert on geography [ also if i, val, have to think too deeply on genshin lore i'll k-word myself ] so I don't have an answer to your first question. Cuisine tends to feature a lot of seafood, due to the proximity to the ocean, though many of the locals have something of a sweet tooth as well. Hence, there are a lot of shops that sell pastries of all kinds.
The architecture....hmm. I suppose there are a lot of columns? There's an emphasis on symmetry. Sorry, I don't really pay much attention to that sort of thing normally. The buildings in Fontaine are quite different from the buildings here though.
no subject
Symmetry and columns... I'd guess they're a pretty orderly people, then? If there's water all around, I'm sure it's a very beautiful place that makes use of it in a way that either focuses on efficiency or on aesthetics. Can you tell me which?
[ at least THAT MUCH, WRIOTHESLEY?????? useless... what is an architect supposed to do with that. ]
no subject
We ARE the Nation of Justice. It would only be fitting for things to be orderly here. But as for your question, why not both? Some people find beauty in efficiency.
