anyways. wanted to toss this out there for discussing and strategizing how to deal with this fuckin mess. I figure once we kill this kaiju they'll all go back to normal but

I dunno. be gentle with them. I know that's ironic coming from me but whatever

Of course there's always that chance. But if that's the case, then we'll cross that bridge when we get to get.

From my experience, anything unexplained or supernatural in nature comes from rift effects or kaiju influence.

Anyone try to take these guys out of the castle or far away to see if distance from here has any effect? Because that could determine if this is some kind of ranged spell or something else.

That's a good idea. It's not exactly safe beyond the castle walls from what we're told, but perhaps Kaga-san could help. Her with her aircrafts could potentially fly some people around not only to scout, but to see if it has an effect.

it's not so much that I'm giving up on them as it is that I'd be wondering about if it's worthwhile. the lives they believe in are perfectly real to them. pulling them out of it and back into memories that are shittier?
