[In a picture perfect seiza, Yugamu waves politely to start the video.]
Hello, everyone! I've spoken to a few of you already, but I wanted to try and make a more professional first impression!
[Putting his hand down primly on his lap, and smiling brightly in a way that could not possibly prepare you for what he's about to say;]
My name is Yugamu Omokage, and while I'm a professional assassin, currently, my goal is to become a doctor! If anyone has any tips on how to best further my education, I'd love to hear it! That said, if any of you are personally offended by Dr Spim's conscientious bedside manner like Mr. Silco, I'm happy to provide an alternative, I have lots of hands on surgical experience!
[This absolutely needless shot at Silco is offered completely blithely like it's funny to him, rather than a genuine mean spirited critique of the man.]
The other thing I'd like to ask after is information about the kaiju. I know there's some on public record, but I'm curious to get more personal accounts, particularly if anyone else has tried taking them apart or tested any toxins on them!
In any case, I look forward to working with all of you! My previous monster killing experience was with people my age so I hope to learn a lot here.

They feel weirdly preachy.

[He thinks it's a little silly sounding but why not.]
I'm not terribly interested in continuing the family business, but I suppose if need be from time to time, I'm not entirely opposed.

What made you change your mind?
no subject
[Regardless, time to get weird.]
I just find assassination so impersonal. Murder is such an intimate act, I want to save it for someone I care about, someone who wants to kill me just as much!
no subject
Yeah? You looking for your one true murder love?
no subject
Yes, exactly! There's no greater romantic act than murder!
no subject
What kind of murder? There are levels to the romance of it.
no subject
Hm... I feel like the most romantically appropriate method would depend on the person to some extent...
But I will say, nothing like a "Romeo and Juliet" situation. There's no real romance in a misunderstanding. I want my beloved to struggle desperately until one of us breathes our last, our hands covered in each other's blood!
no subject
Oh, oh, but what if it ends in a giant explosion! With fireworks and light! To symbolize the love!
no subject
I've already experienced death by explosion, I can't say I enjoyed it particularly.
I appreciate your vision, though! Just not to my tastes.
no subject
You blew up?
How come you're in one piece then?
no subject
Thanks to our hemoanima, my friends and I are able to be revived from death as long as we're on campus and haven't lost all our blood.
no subject
[ hemo, blood. anima, animal? soul? hm. ]
That's some crazy science.
no subject
We just woke up at the academy with it having already been implanted in our bodies.
no subject
Maybe it's similar to what LILITH does.
Pretty interesting~.
