[In a picture perfect seiza, Yugamu waves politely to start the video.]
Hello, everyone! I've spoken to a few of you already, but I wanted to try and make a more professional first impression!
[Putting his hand down primly on his lap, and smiling brightly in a way that could not possibly prepare you for what he's about to say;]
My name is Yugamu Omokage, and while I'm a professional assassin, currently, my goal is to become a doctor! If anyone has any tips on how to best further my education, I'd love to hear it! That said, if any of you are personally offended by Dr Spim's conscientious bedside manner like Mr. Silco, I'm happy to provide an alternative, I have lots of hands on surgical experience!
[This absolutely needless shot at Silco is offered completely blithely like it's funny to him, rather than a genuine mean spirited critique of the man.]
The other thing I'd like to ask after is information about the kaiju. I know there's some on public record, but I'm curious to get more personal accounts, particularly if anyone else has tried taking them apart or tested any toxins on them!
In any case, I look forward to working with all of you! My previous monster killing experience was with people my age so I hope to learn a lot here.

@nice toy
what the fuck but also fuck yeah
seems like LILITH finally listened to my letters to bring cooler people
no subject
Oh! Thank you, I suppose?
no subject
anyways. two things
1) hahaha what did silco get pissy about
2) I've taken apart kaiju. I usually try and eat part of them so the inner workings are pretty familiar. can't tell you about how toxins work on but anatomy stuff? sure. what are you curious about
no subject
1. He seems to believe that having a proper bedside manner trying to make patients comfortable is mutually exclusive with medically rigorous treatment.
2. A lot of things! For one, how are they similar or different anatomically to the animals they resemble, as that'd tell me what toxins or other forms of attack they might be susceptible to. And it wasn't at the forefront of my mind, but now that you've said it, the same for taste, purely out of curiosity.
3. How literal of a god are we talking about?
no subject
2. structure-wise they're pretty much the same as the animals they're closest to. like with a handful of them there's some organ that I don't know what it is, but I assume it's related to the weird shit they can do. like just with a random example, making lightning. but otherwise? pretty typical. if it looks like a big snake, its insides looks like a big snake. nothing has been totally alien to me.
tastewise. not sure how they'd be to the general palate, but pretty good? guess it depends on how you feel about offal since those are the parts that I'm usually going for. the meat ain't bad though, just maybe a little risk of rift contamination, but it's not major. you can find it if you know where to look basically
3. very literal. I'm Tezcatlipoca, almighty god of the Azteca. here in the flesh for reasons that are a long story but the real deal nonetheless
no subject
2. Offal is my favorite, actually! Both raw and cooked are good, though usually for each organ I think one or the other is slightly better. What risks does eating meat with rift contamination carry?
3. I haven't heard of you, but a lot of Earth's history has been lost or is deliberately unavailable in the TRC, I think. There isn't much I know of outside Japanese history. Either way, that's interesting! I've never met a god before, only a crazed woman who's trying to become one.

2. perfect. someone after my own heart (ha). this really is a good batch.
anyways wide range. you got your predictable side effects like a serious stomachache or you got the extremes like becoming evil. not that that’s ever happened from eating meat admittedly but. rift poisoning yeah! LILITH tries to stop us from having kaiju parts for a reason I guess buuuut I say it’s our risk to take if we feel like it
3. and fair enough, actually. not the first I’ve heard of a situation like that actually. I’m a god of méxico before it was méxico if that means anything to you. but we’ve got a few gods here actually. course I’m the best and coolest one
no subject
2. I'd agree. People are normally allowed to ingest other toxins such as nicotine and alcohol, so I don't know why suddenly it's strange for me to drink poisons to build a tolerance, and now I'm wondering if the same could be done with this rift.
3. As long as none of you are set on killing humanity, I'm fine with it! I'm certainly not averse to a little conflict from time to time.
no subject
2. …look as someone that enjoys alcohol and nicotine. poison is uh a little different. but like sure if that’s what you want to do I’m not going to stop you. but if you kick the bucket not on us yknow
3. …well. technically ereshkigal did I guess but she got better.
no subject
2. As far as how careful consumption can build up a resistance, I don't think it's really that different! This rift contamination seems more magical than purely biologic though.
3. She got better from wanting to kill humanity?
no subject
2. yeah I agree. doesn’t quite feel like actual magecraft to me buuuut with how it works? might as well be. so sure if you wanna microdose can help ya out
3. yeah. long and technical explanation aside you just get some sense knocked back into you
no subject
2. I'll think about it! I'll need to get a better sense of the state of things here before I decide if it's worth the effort.
3. Surely some people are worried it could happen again, though?
no subject
2. gotcha. well you ever wanna chow down just hit me up. I practically have a dinner club at this point
3. for sure yeah. some people are real pissed at her and won’t let it go. don’t blame them and she doesn’t either.
but she’s good. I can give you my word on that.
no subject
2. Rift contamination aside, I'll definitely hit you up!! It sounds like you'd prepare a good menu. Are you against serving alcohol to minors, though?
3. It makes sense people would be upset regardless of her attitude. What is she going to do about it?
no subject
2. nope! don’t give a shit at all. so far as I’m concerned if you’re fighting kaiju you should be able to imbibe how you want
3. nothing I don’t think. if you talk to her you’ll get it but I figure she feels she deserves it. I wouldn’t go that far personally but. I know how she can be
no subject
2. Okay! Yay!! People are so strict about it in the TRC, but I feel like killing people is more of a risk to my health? Besides my liver doesn't even metabolize things in the same way as others.
3. Sounds like my friend Takumi. Thinking that suffering is what they have to do to make up for something terrible they didn't even do on purpose.
no subject
2. yeah the whole drinking smoking whatever age thing that’s new for me. the way it worked for the azteca is that if you were old enough to go to war you can do whatever. I still hold to that
especially if it doesn’t even hit you the same way I guess. what do you mean by that?
3. that’s exactly it. I don’t agree with the way she looks at herself but I understand it. not like it’s something you can fix overnight I know but. I like her so I’m gonna give her a hard time is how it works
no subject
2. My family have done biological experiments and augmentation on me as long as I can remember. I think probably about 90% of my body parts have been replaced or otherwise enhanced. The liver was to see if it could help me resist and develop immunities to poisons faster!
no subject
what the fuck?
that’s fucked
no subject
We use proper surgical procedures and anesthesia, don't worry!
no subject
you said as long as you can remember so I’m guessing you didn’t say “yeah go ahead”
also smaller point but it’s a waste of perfectly good organs
no subject
Knowing my family I'm sure the spare organs were put to good use.
no subject
if you don't care then I guess it's fine
minus the experiments part not sure about that one
no subject
I don't really see what the problem is here.
no subject
yeah I'll take your word for it. especially since you're an assassin? and doctor
actually we do need those so I guess that's good. last time we were mostly relying on some bunny robot thing
