If anyone has received a green beetle they would like to sell, please let me know. I'm not sure I can offer as much as you could elsewhere, but these creatures would be a big benefit to all of us. I would like to set them up in the greenhouse and gardens in Okinawa to help facilitate plant growth, and harvest the groves. They would be a huge help in growing food for us all.

Think of it this way: the more food we can grow, the less ration bars we need to eat.

Would the ones that shoot water help you, big brother? After all, plants need water to grow.

That's probably a good idea too. Perhaps we can put a green and blue together and see how they do. I'm hoping the fighting is only something they do under coercion. I'd like to make sure they get along before we put them in the greenhouse.

I've got a little terrarium for mine for now. Want to stop by my room sometime and we'll see how it goes?

It would probably be the best way to find out if they get along. Though, do we know if they all eat the same thing or do we need to figure that out too?

I would assume as beetles it would be the same thing, but I guess we can find out for sure. I would like a few of these to work in the greenhouse, but not so many that they'll end up eating too much of what we're trying to grow.

What are you growing in the greenhouse already?

Mostly vegetables, and some flowers. I was lucky enough to escape Brasov with many seeds.

There were groves already there when we arrived, citrus fruits native to Okinawa. I've been trying to maintain those as well.

I'm sure you've done a good job of that. Perhaps we should find other fruits to add to it too. That way we have a variety.

I would love to. I did grow some strawberries in the troughs I have already built there, but those grow so easily. But that's the only fruit I've gotten to so far.

[And maybe because strawberry is Yuji's favorite.]

If you ever stumble across seeds while you're out anywhere, let me know. I can reimburse you for them.
