text;

If anyone has received a green beetle they would like to sell, please let me know. I'm not sure I can offer as much as you could elsewhere, but these creatures would be a big benefit to all of us. I would like to set them up in the greenhouse and gardens in Okinawa to help facilitate plant growth, and harvest the groves. They would be a huge help in growing food for us all.

Think of it this way: the more food we can grow, the less ration bars we need to eat.

Do contact me if you're interested. Thanks for your time.

[There's a pause before the post is edited, and more is added.]

I hope everyone has been recovering well. If you were someone who became corrupted in the Underworld and suspect that not all of it has been purged from your system, please come see me. I can help. My room is Everlight 012.

[OOC: feel free to use this post for beetle trading and selling in general, too.]

do people know how long construction is going to take before it's done? is there any call for volunteers to help with it? you're right, self-sufficiency with food is just as important as defending the city.

[ then, for the latter half of the reply: ]

did people die?

maybe an inventory could help narrow down what's urgently needed from the junkyard. it'll be easier to figure out alternatives too, or if there's someone who can forge from raw materials.

is it common, though? getting poisoned by the wildlife closer to tokyo, or the neighboring cities?

[ megumi's not sure how to push for the story about the underground, and if yuji's been impacted or hurt by what had transpired. he'll try again later when he has a better plan. ]

[ muramasa in kyoto. megumi writes down the information, just in case he'll need it later. his approach to this whole thing is to take it all as a long-term mission, like the ones gojo-sensei would have sometimes. pretend you're abroad, is what megumi's telling himself for now. yuji's here, and so are other sorcerers. he can figure something out. ]

we have these hypotheses, and all of these information that could lead to a moer long-lasting solution. have they not been tested?

[ it's more rhetorical, of course. otherwise, the reasons for their presence here in neo tokyo becomes even more sinister. ]

this is a lot to think about, isn't it? did you keep your beetles?

[ even a shed can aspire to greatness— ]

we could build a small carrier that's friendly for them. if we have enough beetles to transport, they'll need to survive the trip, right? even if it's through teleporting, it's not like we'll be releasing them immediately into the wild.

ah, i wish i'd kept a beetle for myself now. but it'll probably have gotten eaten by something eventually, in my care.

we could fly. unless there's a barrier up in the air i don't see why we can't use unconventional methods of transport.

[ nue's gotten really big. she could carry at least two to three people and fly the whole way without stopping now. ]

—ah, i would appreciate that too. thank you.

[ geto-san's rainbow dragon also comes to mind. hmmm. ]

a few, but i'll ask permission from the people i'm thinking of first.

but an aircraft? seriously? with the metal parts and all of it?

[ he thinks he remembers the curse user who could transform herself into a plane, and now megumi feels a bit silly for being so judgemental. ]

the compression and high-speed transfer of matter is inherently dangerous, too. the slower form of travel is probably the safer, barring any incidents on the way.

...but we have to expect that, don't we?
