[When the feed cuts on, it may not be clear who it is the camera is focused on, because instead of there just being regular old happy Yato, there's a raging god with dark wisps emanating from his entire being along with red sclera glaring angrily as he seethes. When he talks, his voice drips with venom, low and dangerous.]

Raidou's theory is being proven right - Hiyori got sucked into a rift as well. I'm going in after her, damn the consequences.

[The good thing is that firmness is usually what it takes to get through to Yato, so despite not being familiar with the woman, he finds himself sitting down on the edge of his bed with a resigned growl.]

I hate it when you people are right... But we've been at this for a while now! We gotta do something! We can't just keep letting people be taken...! Hiyori's been through this once before I can't stand the thought of her having to deal with being kidnapped a second time here!

[Her lips press together, eyes softening in a show of understanding.]

I'm pretty sure none of us like it either. If we knew for sure that jumping through a rift would get them back, I'd be right there with the rest of you.

But it's being narrowed down. We have a region, and a weird place. We just need to find an entrance.

[Gradually, he lets out a long sigh, finally calming down.]

No, I'm sure nobody does. It's just never easy when it's somebody close to us. When things get personal.

We've made that much progress, though, huh...? That's something, at least. I don't think I could've stood it if we didn't have a clue still. I'm no good at just sitting and waiting.

No, it isn't. I'm not as close to anyone who's gone as you clearly are, but I get it.

Look, I can't say I know how you can help, but you can figure that out. Just get some rest and eat something before diving in head first like I imagine you want to. We can't put our all into something without taking care of the basics.

I'm not sure how I can help, either, aside from beating up whoever or whatever took everyone once we find them. But I also know you're right. It's the same thing I'd tell any human who's getting worked up over something like this.

Most feelings in this scenario are understandable. Don't worry about that.

Beating it up sounds like a reward by now. [That's more of a grumble than anything.] Human or not, it'll give you more energy to help later. So just... absorb some soup or whatever you do?

Soup does tend to be soothing when dealing with an upset stomach, I've noticed.

Think I'd go for soup first, honestly. Those things are pretty nasty. Even my haphazard cooking is better than that.
