[When the feed cuts on, it may not be clear who it is the camera is focused on, because instead of there just being regular old happy Yato, there's a raging god with dark wisps emanating from his entire being along with red sclera glaring angrily as he seethes. When he talks, his voice drips with venom, low and dangerous.]

Raidou's theory is being proven right - Hiyori got sucked into a rift as well. I'm going in after her, damn the consequences.

Ugh... [He hates that Hunter's right, that the likelihood of him being able to save her by himself is just... probably zilch. It sucks.

And yet, he finds himself laughing, albeit ruefully.]

I'm a hypocrite... I tell others not to act in haste, and what do I do, I want to jump in the nearest damn rift.

Look-- I get it. The person most important to you is in danger. Don't beat yourself up about it. Save your energy for helping us get them all back. We'll probably have a fight on our hands.

[It sucks to have to be scolded and reminded to behave himself in a tough situation, and yet... it's familiar enough that he doesn't lash out instinctively.]

I'll try not to. You're right about it being a waste of energy. I just-- I just wish we could move out to get them, now. I hate sitting around, unable to do a damn thing.

[He's a bit confused as to why, but he goes all the same, gradually cooling off until there's barely a wisp of darkness emanating from him by the time he arrives. Friends really do help calm a raging god's soul.]

[It's actually a really thoughtful gesture, even if Yato's still puzzled by what they're doing here. He'll catch on eventually, though. He's just distracted and preoccupied with other thoughts at the moment.]

[He comes over and picks up a hammer, choosing a chunk of metal to whale away on, with more force than is probably necessary or expected, give he's a god. Super strength comes with the territory.]

[He has to assume, either that or he's being lent the shop to do some side work.]

[ don't call hunter out on being thoughtful, he'll get embarrassed!! anyway, since he has calmed down a little, he doesn't bonk off the barrier, and can enter the forge normally. hunter nods ]

[No worries there; Yato is used to tsundere types thanks to his shinki, Yukine being of a similar disposition. Good thing about the barrier, too. That would've been seriously annoying.]

Aah. Gotcha. I imagine Muramasa likes having an extra hand.

[Since it's always nice to have company if nothing else. Taking the hammer, Yato seats himself and gets to work, looking like he's done this before.]

Yup! And a bow and arrow. I've fought with all kinds of weapons, but those are the two I currently have here.

He made me a knife. He could probably make you another sword, too, if you wanted it.

Still, I'm sure any assistance is appreciated. It's not easy, creating weapons. I've watched humans do so for ages, refining their techniques and developing new ones to better protect the ones they love.

[He smiles a bit wanly, but doesn't totally allow himself to become morose.]

That wouldn't be such a bad idea. It's good to have a spare just in case something happens to your main weapon.

Yeah, that's true. Can't have too many, that's for sure. I can't say mine will be the work of a master, but they should be serviceable.

[He perks up a bit at that with a nod, glad to be of some help.]
