This is Muramasa.
Just before we left last month, I was given leave to keep a smithy on the premises of the base in Kyoto. It's functional now, so the lot of you using blades from our employer need to come have a proper edge put on them. Don't dawdle: you're embarrassing me, walking around like that as it is with those things. Same goes for those of you with personal blades that need upkeep.
[ now, time for the announcement of the grand opening of peepaw's sword emporium. Sort of. ]
Now, if you just want a proper blade of your own for our work here, and I've got a finished one on hand, you can have it if you pay me back for those materials. (Don't do anything stupid with it — they're swords, not toys.) Or, if katana ain't your style and you want something special, or you'd like a matching set, I can do that too. I'll have to test ya so I can see what suits you, plus I'll be charging you for materials and time away from my own work, but it's a properly forged sword made by a master, and you can't beat that price these days.
[ nobody would be so shifty as to start selling those swords on an underground, black market, right? definitely not. ]
And before I forget—Kuzunoha, Laios. You two come see me at the smithy when you're free, regarding the work we talked about before.
[ He already talked to you boys about blades, so you're exempt from this decree about payment... but only once.
And lastly, but most importantly: ]
... Tsurumaru-dono, please feel free to come visit as well. I'd like to see how you're holding up, now that there's a proper forge to work in.

@gisei
Surely you can't be serious.
[ Even her world has a version of this guy's swords. Theres no way the weird puppet lover is THAT guy. Right? ]

Long dead and summoned back for the time being, but one and the same. You of all people shouldn't put such a stock in appearances, girlie.

Guess it doesn't matter now. More importantly, do you think you can improve on the elemental blades LILITH's provided us?

Right now, best I can do is hone a better edge on them. There's only, what, a dozen or so floating around right now? Dunno if you lot can afford to go without 'em while I try melting some down and reforging them into new blades. Plus, we'd lose too much material to slag, assuming the fire doesn't burn away whatever makes 'em elemental.
[ Sure, he managed to land the final blow on that Kaiju in Egypt with plain steel, but it took a lot out of him, and he isn't expecting the others to be able to do what he does. ]

I can't speak for others but I'm not dependent on mine. My magic and hands are enough for most threats, it's mostly for variety's sake.
[ And nostalgia. Her older sister who barely acknowledges her is a sword user, using obe herself is a way to keep Tosa's memory fresh in her mind. ]
So if you want to see what you can do with it, be my guest.

Honestly? I'm more curious about what someone as venerated as yourself can manage to do with it than I am worried about having another weapon on me.

Hah! Okay, okay, sure. If you want me to impress you that bad, girlie, I guess I have to at least try.
But don't think I'll give you a discount on work 'cause you buttered me up. If I were still human, I'd be on the street with a bowl in hand instead of a hammer at these rates I'm selling at.
[ Aventurine, in admitting he wanted to spend money for fun, got charged a normal Sengoku Era price for a masterwork, and he still got it cheap at a million kryptos. ]

Regardles, I wouldn't waste time on empty platitudes for such a thing. KAN-SEN don't spend our time concerned about money, I'll provide however mucu you ask.
[ Working as a priestess isn't staggering money but it's enough to afford her few vices. Everything she's been paid post mission though? That's been pretty much untouched since October. ]
