You make a good point about having more hands on deck who can help with maintenance and repairs... Buuut taking apart the units we use for battle is kinda less than ideal, which I'm sure you can understand. I think I might have a solution, though.

Sure, sure, I get it. No harm no foul, right? Listen, when they finish putting the finishing touches on the base renovations, I was thinking about bringing Ratchet in for a little hands on experience. The combat sim LILITH has in the Tokyo base is way more robust than the one they have in Kyoto base, so I was thinking of using the system to whip up a perfect duplicate for demonstration purposes.

I've done it before, you just need special permission from Seok Dang to make it happen. Well, that, plus consent from one of the pilots such as yours truly... But that's a given here.

C'mon, I'm not talking about letting him at the cores, that'd be ridiculous. I'm talking about a compromise between Outsiders, a show of good faith! He wants to know how they work? Why not let him learn?

Because we shouldn't just trust people to get up close and personal with our machines when they've only proven so far they won't back off when told to get the hell away from them!

From the sound of things he's just gonna keep trying no matter WHAT we do. We might as well let him take a look in a controlled setting. Better yet, a controlled setting where we have a 10 foot tall cybertronian with a level head on his shoulders to help manage the situation.

Hey, you wanna give me shit for a GOOD IDEA, fine. But if I can reason him down to doing this on a schedule, he won't even have to get on the actual Buster. The sim room back in Tokyo can replicate entire mobile suits. Not sure if the one in Kyoto has that same capacity but, point still stands: if he wants to learn how they work, we can just teach him on the Sim. All I have to do is put in a request with Seok Dang.

Sims are never a good enough substitute for the real thing, and I don't want him near our suits whether they need repaired or not.

Bullshit sims aren't a good enough substitute, you haven't even seen the Tokyo simulator in action. It's literally indistinguishable from the real thing, I taught Bakugo how to pilot on it.

And anyway, he has a point about it being a good idea to have more people who can maintenance these things. We've got five suits, it can't hurt to have an extra hand in a pinch, right?

Does LILITH handle maintenance or does it not? You'd think they would if they brought us here to fight.

Better than I expected, honestly. The guy's real studious... And stubborn. He can't use it in combat, but he can at least move it from point A to point B.

And yeah, LILITH does maintenance, but they're the ones bringing US in to help THEM. You gotta figure an Outsider with engineering chops is gonna be a cut above the in-house staff in some ways, right?
