The fact that he wouldn't back away from our machines during that convention despite being warned multiple times. The fact that they had to physically remove him from it. And the fact that his brother is now specifically saying not to let him anywhere near what powers these things! That's what!

C'mon, I'm not talking about letting him at the cores, that'd be ridiculous. I'm talking about a compromise between Outsiders, a show of good faith! He wants to know how they work? Why not let him learn?

Would you relax a little? Remember when I was teaching Bakugo how to pilot the Buster? I didn't let him try it out on the real thing for months. It was all simulated before that. We could do the same thing here, all we have to do is ask Seok Dang for some time in the sim once it's back up and running. That way he can take apart what he wants, get a feel for how they work without compromising anyone's ability to fight in case of an emergency.

It's not the compromising anyone's ability to fight that's the issue!

Obviously we have levels of encryption that only get higher from activation to OS code to the protections around the cores, but in a place like this we have to be all the more careful about that sort of thing!

That's why I'm not just going to be okay with this idea unless he makes up for the shit he pulled with Athrun and Cagalli. And he's got quite a bit to do there!

[Look it's not like he's NOT also concerned about the Uranium thing and Donnie's apparent inability to take "no" for an answer. But.]

Fact is, we're gonna have to keep working with him AND his brother for the foreseeable future. If he's tech-minded, it's in our best interest to try and cooperate with him. Plus, if we work with him, we can also get a sense for his abilities, which in turn can help us improve our security protocols.

Just let me keep talking to him for a bit. Feel this situation out some more.
