[Ah the seasons are changing, and even with the work on Kyoto to do? Donnie is getting restless, and really he needs something more to focus on. Something to keep him busy. So he's going to address the Outsiders with an inquiry.]
So, how many people use guns here? And how many of you don't know how to field or detail dress them?
[Donatello, you need to say why you're asking this.]
What I'm asking is well, I need something to keep my hands busy, so I am offering to do any dressing of guns for anyone who needs it done. Or doesn't want to do it themselves?
Also I've been helping around the current base, that's not exactly enough okay.

look I chronically play tall characters Richele is 6'0 /shrugsWell he's glad one of them is entertained by this.]Donatello. [He's surprised its a name he's familiar with. Not with this individual personally- but somehow his name is native to the areas of Laterano... strange. Still, unimportant, his attention is put back on the conversation.] Thank you.
[He gazes around the room, but yup, it really is just the same as every other one. The outsiders weren't very motivated to decorate when this wasn't their home away from home. The tools do catch his eye and he tilts his head in obvious curiosity. It was hard sometimes to distinguish was an oddity of this world, and what was an oddity belonging to an outsider. He wonders which one this is.
Still, he can ask questions while they work.
He turns back to Donnie and pulls out a handgun outfitted with a silencer as seen in his left hand here from a holster it'd been resting in at his side. Holding it out to the teen and waiting to see what he did.]
no subject
But yeah, that is a silenced handgun. He'll take it carefully, giving the gun a quick once over visually before he trails his fingers over it.]
Is this a sealed suppressor or one I can take apart?
[It's kind of hard to tell right off the bat, and it will also effect how he'll go about cleaning it.]
no subject
You can take it apart yes, [Laterano hand guns were made to last. That included them being built with the most viability for maintenance.] Here-
[Without touching or taking it back he points to the spots where it can be detached, and also where it can be taken apart. Its cleverly built- after all, gunsmithing was a Laterano pride.]

Cool, cool, cool. [And after having things pointed out? He's heading over to his futon with the tools on it and plopping down and... Quickly getting to work. No words, just hands moving methodically and carefully to take the gun and silencer apart, and a stern expression of concentration on his face.]

Cute][Richele follows him, settling on the ground off to the side. Close enough so he can keep an eye on the teen. But not directly facing him or close enough to come off overbearing. If Donnie seems to have any issues or confusion he'll helpfully point it out or answer an unspoken question, but otherwise he keeps to himself, watching in fascination, slightly impressed at the speed at which he picks up on things. He obviously had a lot of skill in this kind of work.
Unlike a normal gun, Donnie will find a strange unit containing a strange crystal that glitters in the light at the center. Richele makes no comment unless asked directly...
... In part because he seems to be nodding off a little bit here and there. Its weirdly peaceful to sit here and do nothing, just keep an eye out. Richele's not trying to fall asleep- but exhaustion from all the commotion recent events have caused is catching up to him.]
no subject
He holds it up and looks it over. It kind of makes him think of the mystic crystal he has in his goggles... Which thinking about them makes him frown a little, since he doesn't have them here. But he pays it no mind aside to be careful with it, because he may have also noticed his observer nodding off.
He doesn't want to bother Richele more than he has too, so back to checking out the parts he does understand. While humming a little to himself as well.]
no subject
The familiar kind of dynamic was soothing to him. Natural, easy to fall into.
Between the tinkering noises filling the room and Donnie's humming, Richele's drowsiness only gets worse, until eventually he succumbs to it- Drifting off where he was sitting criss-cross, back to the wall. His chin falling to rest on his sternum, and his breathing evening out.]
no subject
Not noticed as well, as he stretches his arms out and wiggles his fingers. Getting some circulation back into them as he says;]
All done it was in pretty good sha--
[Ah, now he sees why things got so quieter. What to do? If Raph was here he'd move Richele onto one of the futons and let the guy sleep, but Donnie is pretty sure he can't move the older man without waking him. Instead he's going to gently place the fixed gun into Richele's lap, hopefully not waking him in the process, and then grab a flat sheet off his futon and draping it over him.
Cause yeah, that's something his brothers would do. Seems like the right thing to do, before he goes about tidying up the tools and such.]
1/2
The most Donnie gets is a grunt as he shifts slightly before settling again. None the wiser.]
2/2
...where...?
The sits up straighter and the blanket falls off of him, and he blinks down at it blankly.]
no subject
Oh. I'm all done, you were asleep so I just put your gun in your lap since I didn't want to disturb you?
