[ The moment the clock strikes 12 midnight to usher in Christmas Day, a hoard of delivery drones will be activated throughout the base. They enter each Outsider's room or finds them where they might be and drops a gift off into their hands. Some Outsiders who have been gifted a paid subscription or virtual gift will receive this gift in their oculars instead.

[Just a very unamused look from her when she opens her door to see what sort of screeching apocalypse is going on outside.

Her dog on the other hand is much more entertained by this, running out to try and grab one of the screaming chickens.]

Hey, who's this? I didn't know you had a friend in there!

[The dog grabs the chicken in its mouth, and Gigan grabs the other end of the chicken in his beak. It's time to play screaming chicken tug-of-war, which just makes the thing continue its horrible squeaky wailing.]

Creme Brulee, he's my dog.

[She says trying to be heard over the chicken wailing. If Makima didn't know better, she'd think this must be what hell sounds like. Just infinite chicken screeching at close range.]

Come on, give him back his chicken.

[Normally that would be all, but Creme Brulee is very much enjoying this game in the hallway, wagging his tail at the new friend and his fun toy.]

It's mine!

[This is directed at Makima, not the dog, because Gigan assumes she's talking to him. He doesn't know much about or understand pets. Can you just talk to them and tell them to do things? Do they understand humans?! In any case, he has to open his beak to say that, which means Creme Brulee gets the chicken for now.]

[kubricks]

[Temporarily having won, Creme Brulee runs around with the chicken in a circle. Which Makima just sighs at a bit, he's normally better behaved by this, but all the excitement has him excited.]

I'm sorry, hang on.

[When he circles around again, Makima just reaches down and takes the end of the chicken. Another brief game of tug of war ensues, but he surrenders the chicken over to his owner, standing still and wagging his tail.]

Here you go.

[She'll hand the chicken back over to Gigan now that it's been freed from Creme Brulee's clutches.]
