[ Soon after LILITH hands the decision to Outsiders, Ratio makes a post on the ocular network. ]
I hope you have all had ample time to rest from the aftermath of the kaiju's attack. However, it is time to turn our attention to the future. We have been given an opportunity to decide our next step.
I imagine opinions may be divided on this front, so I would like to open the forum for discussion. Please state your choice and provide thorough reasoning for your decision. You will not convince anyone with a half-baked argument. You may respond to any comment as you please, but remember to stay civil and do not resort to derogatory or inflammatory comments. Should you break this rule, I will revoke your comment permissions.
Keep in mind that your choice will have a grave effect on the people of this planet. It is not one to be made lightly, so do not treat it with levity.
You may use the form below to keep your comment clear and easy to read.
[ ooc: This is meant to be a mingle text log! Feel free to comment on each other's posts, yadda yadda go wild! Also the form is only a recommendation, feel free to disregard Ratio's instructions and annoy him. ]

1: Stay in Seoul and assist the city.
2: Chase after the escaped Imugi.

Nice trick, Doc. Handy, too.
( Could he do that? Maybe, if he thought about his own Imaginary talents and what they could be used for. But he follows a different Path, so perhaps the Preservation only grants him what it feels like. Either way, with his food reheated, Aventurine begins eating in earnest. )
Yeah. I don't know about you, but while I normally excel under pressure there's something about being a dying world's only hope that's just unreasonable in its demands. What are we getting out of it that's worth something long-term?

This relationship, he thinks in response to Aventurine's question. Had this never happened, he's certain they would have danced around their feelings for far longer, perhaps driving their own colleagues up the wall from the unspoken tension between them. Not to mention, once they finally confessed their feelings, their relationship would have had to be under tight wraps, as both were well-known figures in the interstellar community. They would not have had the freedom to express their love so openly.
But that's not what Aventurine is asking. As always, he's thinking like a businessman, focused on the profits, the cost and benefits. To that, Ratio answers. ]
For all that this planet appears to be primitive at times, they are advanced in other aspects. The technology they use to call upon Outsiders, for example. Its worth to the IPC would more than justify any resources spent on rebuilding this planet. In addition, if this is truly another universe, it has value as the first planet the IPC could use as a foothold to expand into an untapped market.
[ The truly religious fanatics of the IPC would be able to spread word of Qlipoth here as well, which would no doubt be appealing. There's even more benefits he can think of, many scientific in nature, and others... well. If a universe could be considered a closed system of energy, the ability to move matter between universes would change both irrevocably. And that would be out of Nous' ability to calculate. How would the Aeons react to a previously inaccessible area suddenly becoming a part of their domain? Or perhaps they wouldn't be able to. It's a thought he'd love to explore, but perhaps not now. ]
