I hope you have all had ample time to rest from the aftermath of the kaiju's attack. However, it is time to turn our attention to the future. We have been given an opportunity to decide our next step.

1: Stay in Seoul and assist the city.
2: Chase after the escaped Imugi.

I imagine opinions may be divided on this front, so I would like to open the forum for discussion. Please state your choice and provide thorough reasoning for your decision. You will not convince anyone with a half-baked argument. You may respond to any comment as you please, but remember to stay civil and do not resort to derogatory or inflammatory comments. Should you break this rule, I will revoke your comment permissions.

Keep in mind that your choice will have a grave effect on the people of this planet. It is not one to be made lightly, so do not treat it with levity.

There are few things I dislike more than a god that abandons people.
Are these people really a waste just because we have a greater cause?

Humans abandoned their gods first and upon receiving stewardship of the world? They abused it. I really do not mind if you dislike me for reminding you of the difficult truth that we are working to save people who tortured their planet to the brink of death.

But, I have not abandoned them. I am saving humanity. 'Tis unfortunate for a bunch of individuals in a city on the brink, but that is how I see things. I will not simply overlook their evils while working to save them, is all.

I've been lost to history and forgotten by humans more times than I know. When I was found again, there was no need for me and I spent my days never being drawn again.

I've seen humans make mistake after mistake. They always fight for the world but end up hurting each other undoing all of their good. I've been stolen from graves and shrines and I've seen humans waste their lives until they die nameless, doing nothing for the world.

(He knows humans are trash!!!)

But when they called on me and asked me to help them in their time of need, I still answered.
Maybe that's why humans rely on their own tools instead of gods.

And I feel more compassion for you, than I would ever feel for them. In a way, you are bound to them eternally — they made you. Do you think those loyalties are ingrained they placed in your soul?

I do not like how casually you mention your abandonment in the same breath as you receive the scraps of their love, little menace.

But, yet AGAIN: I AM helping.

I do not have to look upon them kindly or treat them adoringly of them to accomplish that task, is all I am saying. I do NOT care if a city has to die to ensure their world survives for them. I have made thousands of ugly decisions like this in my lifetime.

I don't really know myself. But maybe it's because I was made by humans... I can't help but be audacious to the heavens.

(His history is such a mess, his storylines are all jumbled up and filled with holes... he truly doesn't know what he's supposed to be sometimes.)

I've also made heavy decisions. If we choose to chase the kaiju, this won't be my first time letting people thousands of people die for a greater cause. I once commanded Matsui Gou to do the same! But to not care for them at all...

They're still a part of this world's history. Even if they leave no impression and we can't think of a single name among them, their lives matter. They're not just numbers or factors! If we're going to make these sorts of decisions, the least we can do is care about the decisions we make!

I do not mind that about you. You are more like the divine than you are like humanity — for they were made weak, but graced with freedom of will in exchange.

Beings like us were made to be powerful, and beholden to greater wills than our own. I cannot care too much for them, little menace. If I lose myself to their freedoms, I will become a danger to that which I am required to hold above all.

They are part of the world's history, but not the only part. I hate them, for making other gods and beautiful creation like you believe that life revolves around them.

Without humans, there would be no gods.
The poem stories and songs they share invoke the gods.
All words have power and each word is a vessel for the divine.
Created by stories and imbued with human feelings, we are born into this world and live as legends.

At least! That's how it is for me.
Maybe that's why I can't hate them no matter how I may feel.

Oh, absolutely not. What arrogance, for humans to teach you such drivel.

No wonder you lot are so intent on saving a handful of their number. You are brainwashed.

I knew a world that long preceded humanity — and I remember the day that they first came to be. Then, when we raised the Nile and drowned them all, to recreate them better than before. And again, and again. They worship and serve us, and we lend our might to them.

(There are things he could say quickly but instead, he waits a moment to see if Set may have something more to add. It's clear he's struck some sort of chord and you never know when someone will come back with, "One more thing!"
