I hope you have all had ample time to rest from the aftermath of the kaiju's attack. However, it is time to turn our attention to the future. We have been given an opportunity to decide our next step.

1: Stay in Seoul and assist the city.
2: Chase after the escaped Imugi.

I imagine opinions may be divided on this front, so I would like to open the forum for discussion. Please state your choice and provide thorough reasoning for your decision. You will not convince anyone with a half-baked argument. You may respond to any comment as you please, but remember to stay civil and do not resort to derogatory or inflammatory comments. A well-rested party counting half our numbers failed to take it down. She is now aware of our presence and expects us. Worse, her maternal instinct shall make her far more ferocious than before.

If we chase her and die, the damage to this world will be far worse. We are humanity's last line of defense.

Our allies were clearly shaken by the track follower's accident 🚅💥, I would not deem them well rested with my own judgement. Allow them to stay behind to recover and support the civil denizens if we must, the hunt can not be abandoned.

She may be aware of us yet she is wounded as well, this is the right time to strike 🥊. If we let her escape she will rear her young, then our fight will be against many instead of one 🐉🐉🐉🐉. This would not be a desirable situation.

I cannot deny the risk there is in allowing for her to go away. Her young shall inevitably become fully grown beasts capable of the same destructive feat than her.

However, I believe you underestimate the extent a mother will go to in order to protect her offspring. I would not expect for her to be a less formidable opponent now that she is wounded.

She fled to ensure her young would live. She will fight to her very last breath with heretofore unseen ferocity for the same purpose.

Do not presume me some human who has long lost touch with instinct 😤. I am well aware of the lengths one goes in defense of offspring.

I do not for a moment think the battle shall be easy, however that does not mean it is not our best chance. Allowing her to heal will only mean she is well rested and defending her young. This is more dangerous ☠️.

I cannot deny the logic of your words...

However, abandoning the people who need us now... Nothing good will come from that. It is my belief if we work together, we can save them today and hunt the kaiju tomorrow.

Ah, the beating core of this conflict. We are caught between a mountain and a solid location ⛰️☹️🪨. [ Rock and a hard placd. ]

The choice is clear, it is not easy 😞. We must leave the humans to themselves in this, LILITH and the local peace-keepers will assist those they can 👩‍🚒👨‍🚒👮‍♀️👮‍♂️👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️, we must focus on the battle. It weighs as a heavy decision, as it should, it will inspire the packs to ensure this choice will not have to be made in the future⏳️.

I must disagree. Avoiding a worse situation later is meaningless if those we could save today are left to die.

But I suppose those are irreconcilable perspectives.

Regrettably I must agree, our stances are vastly different.

I am very old, Golden Furred of Kûr, I have seen many battles like the one we've fought 🏢🦖💥🐉🏢. There will always be small ones dying as a result, it is a fact that can not be avoided.

[ There's a right balance to strike between being old enough to be cool and not being so old you're an unfun relic. Goddesses like Tiamat are older than her, after all...! ]

And I believe in the potential of humans to find solutions where we only see death.

Interesting 🤔. I would very much like to speak on this more. Perhaps over coffee or tea once our current mission is resolved.

[ It's not every day someone can claim to be older than him! Even if she isn't, having more long lived individuals to speak to is hardly a bad thing. Maybe they can compare notes on the continents they've seen sink, that could provide good material for his school lessons! ]
