[ Soon after LILITH hands the decision to Outsiders, Ratio makes a post on the ocular network. ]

I hope you have all had ample time to rest from the aftermath of the kaiju's attack. However, it is time to turn our attention to the future. We have been given an opportunity to decide our next step.

1: Stay in Seoul and assist the city.
2: Chase after the escaped Imugi.

I imagine opinions may be divided on this front, so I would like to open the forum for discussion. Please state your choice and provide thorough reasoning for your decision. You will not convince anyone with a half-baked argument. You may respond to any comment as you please, but remember to stay civil and do not resort to derogatory or inflammatory comments. Should you break this rule, I will revoke your comment permissions.

Keep in mind that your choice will have a grave effect on the people of this planet. It is not one to be made lightly, so do not treat it with levity.

I'm not blaming anyone for anything. This decision isn't easy, I'm aware of that.

But we are talking about efficiency here, at the end of the day. Obviously we cannot afford to split up again when the reason why the one in Busan escaped was because we were divided. This is to prevent an even worse case scenario if it comes back with a vengeance and with its own ilk to boot. Hell, they might even blame us if we keep twiddling our thumbs in this situation.

Regardless of the decision made, someone will point fingers at us when deaths occur. It is not possible to escape criticism when it affects this many people.

[ He would know, having been under the spotlight in the interstellar community for so long now. ]

In the end, we can only do what we believe will result in the least amount of harm for everyone involved.

We'll cross that bridge when we get to it. Hopefully we'll have a much better shot at success when we'll have all four groups working together.

[ and, well, she doesn't really mind the added blood on her hands. she's a Fixer, after all - a mercenary who will see her mission to the very end no matter what. ]

We also have a better understanding of the creature's attacks now. I predict our chances of success to be quite high, provided we do not lose track of her.

However, I am concerned about the potential for her to escape into a Rift again. Have we any evidence that she would not be capable of doing so?

That we don't know. For all the information we have on the kaiju so far, we don't really have any on the rifts themselves. Probably because it's hard to even get near to one in the first place.

That will have to be the focus of LILITH's research if they wish to make any breakthrough in the crisis. If they can prevent the kaiju from opening the rifts, that may potentially resolve most, if not all of their problems.

[ But of course, if it were that easy, LILITH would have already done it. ]

I shall make some inquiries with LILITH once this mission is complete and then formulate a plan to research them.
