I hope you have all had ample time to rest from the aftermath of the kaiju's attack. However, it is time to turn our attention to the future. We have been given an opportunity to decide our next step.

1: Stay in Seoul and assist the city.
2: Chase after the escaped Imugi.

I imagine opinions may be divided on this front, so I would like to open the forum for discussion. Please state your choice and provide thorough reasoning for your decision. You will not convince anyone with a half-baked argument. You may respond to any comment as you please, but remember to stay civil and do not resort to derogatory or inflammatory comments. Should you break this rule, I will revoke your comment permissions.

Keep in mind that your choice will have a grave effect on the people of this planet. It is not one to be made lightly, so do not treat it with levity.

Decision: Let's stick around!
Reason:
- It's better to focus on what we can do in the now, for those suffering around us.
- How many of us are actually well enough to give chase?
- It'll foster better relations with the base here in Seoul, for those who're preoccupied with that... they'll be more likely to grant us help when we actually find the thing.
Other: One step at a time! That's just common sense!

If we know how to find them already, we can do it again later.

Exactly! There's no point in dragging ourselves out to who-knows-where right now!
I know... the other one's probably had kids, or is having them, or whatever, but!!! Let's just leave it. It'll be worth it more in the long run to have the support of the people we can help.

Assuming it's laid eggs, I wonder if they've even hatched.
If we're so worried about more of them appearing, it would make more sense to find the eggs before they become a problem.

And cut them down before they've got a chance to peek out, right?
I've heard baby snakes have a higher venom output than their parents, just because they can't control it or it's more concentrated, so I wonder if their acid breath would be like that too...

If we crush then while they're still eggs, we won't have to worry about them attacking.

We would have an angry mother on our hands though.

We're gonna anyway, we killed what was probably her mate and we're aiming for her babies hatched or not. But you're right, we should definitely get to them before they start peeking out.

It looks like we'll be leaving so we might as well make sure we have a plan.
If we have to fight the kaiju and destroy the eggs, we'll have to split our efforts.

A lot of people are short-sighted and do not realize how heavy the cost of a kaiju battle is - and how dangerous two in a row would be. I'm also worried other people we help in the future would be disinclined to trust us if it becomes well-known we abandon those in need.

I knew you'd get it, Eri! It doesn't matter if someone claims they're used to fighting at the expense of themselves, pushing through whatever pain, injury, and fatigue they might suffer, we still shouldn't push ourselves -- every one of us is better alive than dead.
... And yeah, exactly. If we're just seen as the type to pick up and go, without a moment to help those in need, then why should they offer us anything that might help against the kaiju in the first place? Information included!

I foresee nothing good coming from this.

If my assessment is correct, the majority is in favor of giving chase and our words are not swaying them.

Well! We'll deal with the cards we're dealt, even if they aren't the best hand. We've got... a lot of stubborn, short-tempered bulls, unfortunately, not to mention the overly pragmatic. It's not that I don't get their point of view -- it would save some trouble in the long run -- but it doesn't sit right with me.

All we can do is ensure next mission, we are prepared should such a scenario repeat itself.

However, be careful. Few as they may be, there are true enemies of humanity in the ranks of those opting to give chase. Please be careful not to draw their attention and mark yourself as a target in their eyes.
