[ Soon after LILITH hands the decision to Outsiders, Ratio makes a post on the ocular network. ]
I hope you have all had ample time to rest from the aftermath of the kaiju's attack. However, it is time to turn our attention to the future. We have been given an opportunity to decide our next step.
I imagine opinions may be divided on this front, so I would like to open the forum for discussion. Please state your choice and provide thorough reasoning for your decision. You will not convince anyone with a half-baked argument. You may respond to any comment as you please, but remember to stay civil and do not resort to derogatory or inflammatory comments. Should you break this rule, I will revoke your comment permissions.
Keep in mind that your choice will have a grave effect on the people of this planet. It is not one to be made lightly, so do not treat it with levity.
You may use the form below to keep your comment clear and easy to read.
[ ooc: This is meant to be a mingle text log! Feel free to comment on each other's posts, yadda yadda go wild! Also the form is only a recommendation, feel free to disregard Ratio's instructions and annoy him. ]

1: Stay in Seoul and assist the city.
2: Chase after the escaped Imugi.

@onestepforward
Decision: Let's stick around!
Reason:
- It's better to focus on what we can do in the now, for those suffering around us.
- How many of us are actually well enough to give chase?
- It'll foster better relations with the base here in Seoul, for those who're preoccupied with that... they'll be more likely to grant us help when we actually find the thing.
Other: One step at a time! That's just common sense!

@shiro
These are excellent points.
In our current state, how many are well enough to give chase and fight?
If we know how to find them already, we can do it again later.

I know... the other one's probably had kids, or is having them, or whatever, but!!! Let's just leave it. It'll be worth it more in the long run to have the support of the people we can help.

If we're so worried about more of them appearing, it would make more sense to find the eggs before they become a problem.

I've heard baby snakes have a higher venom output than their parents, just because they can't control it or it's more concentrated, so I wonder if their acid breath would be like that too...

(They are defenseless.)
We would have an angry mother on our hands though.

[ for all her desire to stay, she is a practical woman. if they're going, then they'll do it efficiently; this is something that she is used to from her past work, something she excelled at. it isn't a hard decision. ]

It looks like we'll be leaving so we might as well make sure we have a plan.
If we have to fight the kaiju and destroy the eggs, we'll have to split our efforts.
@goddess of death
A lot of people are short-sighted and do not realize how heavy the cost of a kaiju battle is - and how dangerous two in a row would be. I'm also worried other people we help in the future would be disinclined to trust us if it becomes well-known we abandon those in need.
no subject
... And yeah, exactly. If we're just seen as the type to pick up and go, without a moment to help those in need, then why should they offer us anything that might help against the kaiju in the first place? Information included!
[ give her the reigns, LILITH........ let her be a commander......... she'd be unpopular with a whole crowd for her decision but let them fight her for the spot if they want, ]

I foresee nothing good coming from this.
If my assessment is correct, the majority is in favor of giving chase and our words are not swaying them.
I tried convincing some, to no avail.

Well! We'll deal with the cards we're dealt, even if they aren't the best hand. We've got... a lot of stubborn, short-tempered bulls, unfortunately, not to mention the overly pragmatic. It's not that I don't get their point of view -- it would save some trouble in the long run -- but it doesn't sit right with me.

However, be careful. Few as they may be, there are true enemies of humanity in the ranks of those opting to give chase. Please be careful not to draw their attention and mark yourself as a target in their eyes.
private;
hold on. this sounds personal. it's girl talk (ish) time. ]
Like, in our own ranks? Other Outsiders?

A god who hates humans, and a human who defiles the very concept of humanity by his actions. And perhaps...
No, nevermind that. It is possible I am worrying over nothing. Regardless, I intend to keep an eye on them.

... I'm sorry Malkuth, I can't.
I don't want to risk you drawing their attention. I probably shouldn't have even spoken of that in the first place.
