I hope you have all had ample time to rest from the aftermath of the kaiju's attack. However, it is time to turn our attention to the future. We have been given an opportunity to decide our next step.

1: Stay in Seoul and assist the city.
2: Chase after the escaped Imugi.

I imagine opinions may be divided on this front, so I would like to open the forum for discussion. Please state your choice and provide thorough reasoning for your decision. You will not convince anyone with a half-baked argument. You may respond to any comment as you please, but remember to stay civil and do not resort to derogatory or inflammatory comments. You say so, but many empires and kingdoms appear to do just fine in spite of their dark histories. Though, at the opposite end, I suppose even I have entertained the idea of destroying them completely.

Then does that not the beg question if you are able to convince others of the same? Quite frankly, despite this discussion, I doubt many are likely to change their minds.

It looks like we'll be leaving so we might as well make sure we have a plan.
If we have to fight the kaiju and destroy the eggs, we'll have to split our efforts.

Humans are surprisingly resilient. Even when they suffer and are against impossible odds, they've shown great strength.
At least, in my experience.

Some people would rather live their entire lives never making a decision for themselves. They simply live however they've been told. It's boring but it's a life at least.
Others have to make decisions every day. Some are more important more than others. It's exciting and can be as rewarding as it is miserable.
I guess what I mean to say is, I don't know if theres' fortune to be found this time or not. I'll be as surprised as you are.

It would be foolish to chase the beast if our manpower is insufficient. That is simply asking for more casualties.

This is information that can be uncovered by a simple check up on every Outsider. Would it not be prudent to obtain that information first before making a decision?

There is perhaps a chance that it will escape, given our lack of knowledge of the Rift, but I do not doubt our group's capability to subdue it. While it is true that we are not operating at full capacity, I have taken a cursory glance at our state yesterday. There are enough of us who are still capable of combat that I believe it a better choice to pursue the creature.

I agree. I am not entirely comfortable with the idea of leaving Seoul completely defenseless. There is a chance, small as it is, that the kaiju will evade us and return to Seoul to while we are absent. However, we lack people, and cannot afford to leave a single person behind if we wish to maximize the success of subjugating the kaiju.
