I'll go first:

- I was 'hired' by my current employer after I offered a possibility to a branch of it that led them to invest millions of credits into something that never gave any returns
- It's very likely that I am currently dead wherever I came from after I challenged a very special woman to kill me
- The last planet I was on before this one was Thalassa, a world of oceans -- what was supposed to be a lovely vacation turned far more sinister when one of the locals unleashed an unknown entity from the ruins of an ancient, fallen starship from the fleet known as the Xianzhou

And nah, the third one's true. The facility I was made for is all underground.

The IPC is a big fan of results, and I can get them with just a few chips

( he did want the intelligentsia guild to lose all that money so he'd be brought before the higher management of the ipc. he also really wanted to kill his owner. producing results has always been the name of his game. )

Really? It's been a while since I've met any other artificial lifeforms save for Intellitrons, and they aren't exactly AI.

Hmm, I'm not exactly sure how to explain it. They run on programming, but it's not dictated or run by anyone. It just is, so they have a certain amount of 'free will'.

That does kinda sound like us. We're pretty autonomous when it comes to what exactly we're doing...

I don't think there's anything our programming specifically stops us from, either, now that I think about that.
