What is the subject of your study? Perhaps I could offer supplementary lessons if you are struggling.
no subject
Architecture and the engineering that goes with it. My main issues are the general classes, actually -- it's been a long time since I was in an educational institution, and so I've been playing catch up since I woke up here a few months ago.

it would be useful......... and he is offering........ he seems like a nice person..... ]
You sure are talented, Professor! If you really don't mind, then I'd be glad to take you up on that offer. We'll figure out how I can repay you later.
no subject
If it were a bother, I would not offer.
A forewarning: though I may be simply tutoring you, I am a strict teacher. Do not expect me to go easy on you.

So, are all those titles things from back home? You sound like a pretty important person.
no subject
That is why I expect you to do your best under my tutelage. My time is precious, as is yours.

Important important. not that the titles and words themselves matter here, but malkuth knows how and when to give respect where it's due. ]
I promise, I won't be wasting it no more than you will be wasting mine! As long as you can be a little patient with me anyway.
I'm Malkuth, the Patron Librarian of the Floor of History at the Library back home, though there's not a single use for it here unlike your own list! Especially since... well... pretty much every book is digital now, and this world has a history I'm only beginning to scratch at. It'll be an honor to study under you, sir!

It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Malkuth. Your title is no less respectable than mine, for you are a curator of knowledge, and the past is a valuable source of information that may be used to understand the future, should it be fully understood. It is unnecessary to debase yourself.
Think of your arrival to this planet as an opportunity to learn more about the universe as a whole. Various civilizations exist across the cosmos, each leaving their own impact upon the past and steering the future onto a path of their own making. Perhaps what you learn here will recontextualize what you know of your own planet's history.
