just because i'm nosy: what about weird or useless items you've received?
i once received a story called one who showed contempt for a streamer for beating up a dokkaebi.
it never came in handy again, unfortunately. 😒

well, more or less. i don’t usually get to choose which ability i bookmark from someone.. but it’s usually their most useful.

and there’s no method, really. it’s just an ability that i was given when my world went to shit.

Anyway, I guess there has to be a catch to an ability like that. It sounds like an amazing power.

i suppose it's meant to make us grateful to be here instead of there, like maybe kaiju are less troubling.

well, the dokkaebi bureau came and turned it into a sort of coliseum where we're forced to play death-games for the entertainment of god-like beings. it's all more or less resolved now, though.

well, not in a literal sense, but yes.
dokkaebi are a kind of goblin where i'm from. in this case, they're very, very powerful, almost god-like goblins.
