Good morning.

I've been trying to adapt and learn about this place on my own with the help of people I know around me. That includes about the people in it. As much as they know, I don't think they know everything. I think it's impossible to know everything and so since one day I may be working with any one of you, I'd like to get to know some other residents.

If you wouldn't mind telling me about you, or your home, good or bad, I would like to hear it. Since it may not be easy for some, I'll start with something I enjoy about myself, my world, and something I don't for each. I enjoy my friends and before I met them, I was a very misguided person. I enjoy working toward my chosen job in heroism and I don't enjoy actual war, or battles. I prefer strength that allows you to protect others, so that you don't have to in order to resolve a situation.

i became a Fixer because that's what the world asked of me. there's many Fixers. and all wants a piece of that pie of good pay and mostly guaranteed survival or die trying. i just so happen to be good at being what i am

So you did it to survive because that's all that's left to do. At least here you don't have to do that, don't have to be that anymore. Is that a comfort? I'm sorry to ask an odd question but it's an answer I've always wondered about. My world is very different.

It doesn't have to be. Our common day dogs are descendants of wolves and other species along the way. There are domesticated wolves. I don't think they ever lose their teeth, but they do live a comfortable life with other companions. It depends on the personality of the wolf, I suppose.

I should be clear that my brother chose a very different path from myself and my father, and so your insight like this is a little bit selfish of me to ask. You can always tell me no, I won't be offended.

For him it isn't a have to kill situation, it's a want to kill situation. I guess those are one in the same if you ask someone that thinks they have or had no other choice.

that's different, though. Fixers where i come from are like gears in a clock. they always work under someone's boot, whether an Office or a Syndicate or whatever. you can't just kill whoever and whatever you want willy-nilly. you are bound by contracts or whatever your crew abides by

your brother then simply acts on his own desires. in his own twisted way, perhaps that makes him more free

I wonder if that's the same for him. For obvious reasons we don't get to talk often. I wonder a lot based on that, and other things. Thank you for answering my questions honestly, I know you said this was difficult for you but it did help.

Law enforcement. Bodyguarding sounds a lot of the same as my own, just individual. Who are you guarding at the moment? Unless you can't say, which is understandable.
