Well, when it was Yuri's birthday, I would get him a really nice present he'd had his eye on. Like a book he was wanting for his studies that I hadn't yet gotten him. And I'd buy a nice cake from a nearby bakery.

[To Manjoume though, it still seems like a rather depressing way to think about birthdays. It wouldn't be the same without my friends back home. Not to say that I haven't made any friends here, but... well, I'm sure you know what I mean.
