I've found myself with somewhat of a slow day today so I thought I'd take the opportunity to get a few of my questions answered.

Is there anything you particularly miss from your home? Or something that make it unique and different from any other place you've been? I doubt we'll get the chance to visit our homes for an extended period any time soon or else I'd just visit and see for myself. As it stands, I'll have to settle for the next best thing.

No need to reply if you're feeling shy but I really would appreciate any answers you're willing to give.

Oh, and before I forget. I received an image awhile back that I was unable to decipher on my own. If someone would be so kind as to explain the meaning behind it, I would be ever so grateful.

Because there's no official games. No tournaments. There's no practice every day. Are there even enough people who can play for a recreational team?

It seems to be of lesser importance to you than being able to play volleyball the correct way.

Fine. I miss not having to think about fighting monsters.

You said you're from this place originally. What year was it when you left?

I'm guessing you didn't have to worry too much about being displaced from home by both natural and monstrous disasters at that point.

There's earthquakes, I guess.

Kaiju are just a thing in movies and manga though.

How did they defeat the kaiju in those movies of yours?

I don't watch much TV.

But usually it's with giant robots. Or sentai teams? Is that us?

I only know of one giant robot here, unfortunately.

I can't say I'm familiar with sentai teams though.

One is already a lot.

They dress up in bodysuits and fight kaiju. Hang on.

I guess that's not too far off from what we do here. [ their plugsuits…. ] Though do they always pose like that?

[ yeah they're just kind of super sentai here, but sexier? too bad he couldn't find one with the right colors. ]

Maybe it makes them stronger.

Maybe I'll have to run a few experiments the next time a kaiju shows up.

So what do you plan on doing then, since you can't play volleyball here?

he is so wildly out of his element, he doesn't even realize the extent of it. it's like being told you're going to fly a plane tomorrow and being handed a manual. ]

Deal with kaiju so I can go back home. [ to play volleyball ] However that works.
