hello.

i have several questions for the outsider populace and i require truthful answers.

1. what are your abilities in battle?
2. what is your estimation of your skill with your own abilities?
3. who are you?
4. what was your proudest moment?
5. what was your weakest?

answer as you see fit. i’m not your boss.

[ this isn’t how one goes about making work acquaintances but it’s direct, it’s simple, and choso can’t be bothered to care if it meets industry standard. ]

( Damn... he cannot believe that actually worked. )

Technically the shop doesn't open until the 15th, but I will require you to come in tomorrow for training. The work isn't particularly hard. For the most part, you'll be assisting me at the bar, restocking, cleanliness, and general upkeep.

As for your questions:
1. To start, I'm a mage, with a particular talent in mage assassinations. I was born with a bloodline ability that I refer to as `innate time control`, which allows me to bend time relative to my own body. It has many applications, but for the most part, I use it to act at high speeds.

Additionally, everyone in my world is born with something called an `origin`, believed to be something of a starting point that defines one's existence and directs one's actions. Mine is the `severing and binding` origin, using composite elements of fire and earth. The nuance is a little different than 'destruction and regeneration.' If you were to cut a thread and tie it, the change is irreversible. If I were to infect a magic user with something containing my origin, say: my hair, blood, or even my own bones crushed into powder, it would cause their magic circuits to rewire, and become unusable.

That said, I prefer to use other assassination techniques wherever I can help it. Mages can sense whenever another magic user is harnessing their abilities, so more conventional methods such as stabbing, poisoning, guns, or high explosives are always on the table.
