not all of them. older, more powerful curses are capable of speech and holding a conversation as a human can, but the run of the mill curses can't get close. i am merely an exception.

i understand. thank you. [ it's good having an oversight committee even if the board only numbered one (1) lizard of oz. ]

i can manipulate my blood to utilize in melee and long-range situations. my hand-to-hand needs work. there is much i must learn yet.

within reason. too many requires more concentration and effort than is often worth the trouble in battle. quality over quantity in this case. the fewer in action, the more attention can be put into their utilization.
