I mean, they're cheap to get. Back home you'd have have to pay more than an arm and a leg to get these augmentations. You might not know it, but there are some benefits to getting them depending on who you are.

No way, they're still expensive as hell. You're really better off getting a full-body prosthesis which pretty much puts your brain in a box. Not really ideal for my usual line of work.

Mhm, it's a common procedure. You can forgo all human weaknesses with a full-body prosthesis like the need to eat and sleep, but the thought of never eating food again kinda sucks when you think about it.

So really, the stuff they're offering here are a lot better. And they're practically given to you for free too. What's there to complain about?

I didn't ask to be summoned here. I was busy doing something else back home. But this isn't the first time I was conscripted to some shady organization, so the least I should do is make the best of the situation. Also, the augmentations they were offering here doesn't really affect your sense of taste, as far as I know.

At the end of the day, I don't want to hold people back so I got some. You'd do anything to keep up with everyone, right?
