For those who do not know, several Outsiders have vanished into rifts. The first was Ereshkigal, during the kaiju battle in Egypt. As far as I know, no contact has been established.

Since then, three other Outsiders have also vanished: Ratio, Godzilla, Tsurumaru. I have been investigating but coming up mostly short.

There were no witnesses for Ratio's disappearance, but Nyuu and Hayakawa have confirmed that a rift opened and took both Godzilla and Tsurumaru. Only they were taken, despite not being alone at the time.

I may have a clue as to who is next.

I do not wish to cause panic or alarm, and I am not sure what can be done to prevent anyone else from being taken. I will bring these findings to LILITH as well.

During the mission in Egypt, we were inserted into the dreams and memories of other Outsiders. I saw one of Ereshkigal's. In this memory, she was speaking with several other Outsiders. Seven to be exact. Among them were Ratio, Godzilla, and Tsurumaru.

The other four were Yzak, Hiyori, Kabru, and Silco.

Kabru is already gone, though his name is gone from the network, a glitch. Those taken by the rifts are still listed, but unable to be contacted.

I would encourage those others in then memory to not be alone until this is solved.

If you have any other information you would like to document in this post, please do. We need to share what we can in order to get to the bottom of this. I pray you all stay safe.

[With all these disappearances, it's starting to feel unsettlingly like a repeat of Brasov, even if they're staggered as opposed to a mass kidnapping. And that it's into the rifts makes it even more disconcerting.]

A memory... It does sound like it fits the pattern so far.

But I've been thinking...

Godzilla got the killing blow on the Imuji not long ago, right? And both Ereshkigal and Dr. Ratio were given commendations recently, too. Did Tsurumaru deal a major blow to one of the kaiju as well?

this is deeply troubling.
was there anything in the memory itself that makes you think they're being targeted in particular?

We were able to access surveillance around the area Dr. Ratio vanished. His disappearance wasn't captured on camera but his absence was. As if he was there one moment and gone the next. It's very likely he suffered the same fate as the others.

This is a serious problem. I agree with not panicking but that this point alarm is warranted. Thanks for arranging all this info. If you know the locations of where the others vanished, we can see about getting any footage for them as well. Maybe we can find more clues.

Well, I sure came in at a great time. Sheesh. If I find anything useful, I'll bring it up.

We should stay in pairs or more as we investigate. No one goes anywhere alone. I'll help where I can.

Wasn't Ereshkigal lost to a rift while saving Taryon? Knocked into it, from what he told me. Were the others similarly lost in them?

Thank you for initiating this discussion and providing additional insights.

As it seems that LILITH's recent research cannot predict the manifestation of these rifts with greater precision yet, it would be sensible to take whatever precautions we can. We also have the means to pursue Outsider-led initiatives further, such as the proposed plugsuit improvements, as well as efforts to replicate sending drones through a rift.

We should limit ourselves to one base to make watching each other easier.

If, and that's a big if, if anyone else is going to be taken it'll be simple to do with us scattered between Kyoto and Neo-Tokyo like we have been.

Astarion and I sent in some of his ghouls with magic tracking amulets. All communication was cut off. Speaking from experience, this only happens when someone travels to another plane.

Wherever our friends are, it's nowhere accessible via regular travel, but the world on the other side is a real place that has always existed. Something is creating portals between our worlds.

And to be fair, shifting planes can be disorienting. Rift sickness may be an extremely potent version of this.
