[ She's trying very hard to keep it all together. Not just for her own sake either. Lucy's emotions have been chaotic since early this morning and she's not sure how to handle it other than to cry.

Still, in the midst of hiccups, she stammers out. ]

[ No, she can't do it. She can't keep it together. She's crying again with a total lack of dignity and sobs leaving her lungs starved for air. ]

Kaede-san saw it. I can remember what she remembers, but she could tell you better herself, I think.

[ She pauses to collect herself more. ]

One of those rifts opened up and took him. It swallowed him!

[ Suck it, guy he was arguing with over the network about whether it was Rifts or not! No, wait, Nyuu is still upset. ]

He's probably fine. [ It's... meant to be reassuring but kind of sounds like he's sucking a lemon or having the words dragged out of him. Shinn doesn't want even Godzilla to get as mangled as the Brasov kidnappees, but he wouldn't mind if Godzilla stepped on a few interdimensional Legos. ] He's basically a kaiju himself.

[ He leans into the screen, and now the reticence is gone, because he's a lot less conflicted about Nyuu. ]

How about you? Are you okay? Any Rift poisoning? Where are you--?

[ Shinn's right, she tells herself. Godzilla's more than capable of taking care of himself! He's a kaiju, after all. Yet...she can't help worrying regardless. Her other self's sudden lockdown leaves her with a very bad feeling she just can't shake. ]
