Ratio's missing.
And not just in the "they've left this world" way people tend to go missing, someone took him. And if I find out that it's one of you--
I'm finding him and there is nothing on this backwater dying planet that will keep me from destroying whatever is between me and him. That's your one and final warning.

[ Normally, Gilgamesh would try to make a more reasoned argument for why... especially because, given Ereshkigal's domain and her power back in his own world, it seems reasonable to jump to such a conclusion. But here, and in these circumstances, and more generally... it doesn't fit. Go ahead and call it a gut instinct, but he's Pretty Sure. ]
The very fact she herself is missing should lessen your suspicions. We must not be rash and jump to conclusions.
[ ... ah, but this man is definitely exuding massive amounts of Pain and Trauma. Gil is not historically known for being good at the whole empathy thing, but ... he does... unfortunately, remember something of what such a state of being feels like... ]
I have not long known this doctor of yours, but to witness the manner in which he has lived his own life, I do not think he would wish to see you descended into reckless madness. To carry the memory and love of another, one who sees you as your best self, is to aspire to walk in footsteps that would arouse their pride, to reflect the best traits which they see in you. Despair as you must, but better to turn your pain towards efforts to rescue your love.

Don't you dare lecture me about loss, about grief, when I don't even know you, or what he'd think when you don't even know him. He's not here, and therefore I don't particularly care what he'd think until I have him back -- I'll tear this city apart if I have to

Do as you like. It might even offer some entertainment, seeing LILITH's capacities in resisting such an endeavor. You are quite mistaken if you suppose I should begrudge one burning or crushing the world in the name of despair. At such a moment, I suppose that is the act which feels best.
I only meant to say there might be more useful paths of recourse. I too would be willing to volunteer to locate the two of them. I have unfinished business with both.
