Hello. My name is Rin Tohsaka. Yesterday I travelled to the desert in an attempt to locate information that could assist LILITH with research about the kaiju. In my search, I found a large area the locals call Qattara, which is the site of research projects from before the kaiju started appearing. The area is now populated by several large sand crocodiles and the locals refuse to go near it. However as the site may contain information about what has happened with the kaiju attacks I wish to return to see if there is anything worth bringing back. A solo expedition would be incredibly dangerous so I'm hoping to find a few volunteers to go with me. Please let me know if you're interested.

Kaiju battles are often anessy and dangerous. If one of those swords gets wrecked in a battle, I'm not as concerned about it. However, now that we have our own swordsmith here, maybe I wouldn't mind having something better.

Even if it's meant to be disposable, that's no excuse to skimp on craftsmanship.

It'll be a pain without a full forge, but I can at least put a better edge on the one you've got for now.

I'll be more than glad to accept whatever help you can give me. Anything to make me more effective in battle is greatly appreciated.

I also have received one of LILITH's nanobot upgrades that makes me stronger. I worry about breaking a good blade with my enhanced strength. Another reason I keep the Mal Fortuna at home.

[ For all his love of blades, Muramasa will never choose them over a human life. They are tools, meant to be used; taken care of and valued, yes, but ultimately they're tools to survive with. And breaking a good blade is a crime he's all too guilty of himself. ]

I know it'll probably be hard in the middle of battle, but if you can afford to grab the pieces, do it. I hate to waste good steel. Even if I can't fix it, we'll melt it down and incorporate it into a new blade.
