Who's the worst person you've met here and why? Pref an Outsider but if they've all been cool I'll open it up to whoever
I'm making a list
Bonus: if you guess a number between 1 and 100 and get closest to the one I'm thinking of I've got smth for you

rip noctis u were a real one
Nah. He's thriving. Who am I to crash an old man's happiness?
Just sad you guys can't even hate him for real shit. I was really hoping for some top tier gossip.
plays Taps
You already made up your mind before the convo started. I get it. I'd prob do the same thing if I were you
But like I already told you, I don't hate him
lmaoooo
It's not about the stuff. It's about the severity of the stuff. And that shit's concerning.
We kill monsters. We're here to die and kill monsters. So what happens if my dad is the monster you all see? One mean thing gone too far. One cruel remark too strong.
What happens then?

But rn what you've got is what you're mocking everybody else for. People saying they don't like him. Words. Congrats
I'm not speaking for everybody else and you're not talking to them, you're talking to me. So I'll say what I think. Which is if someone tried to attack and kill your dad bc of what he's done so far I'd defend him same as I would anybody else here

[ like she's gonna believe that. especially since she saw noctic name drop silco to people who didn't even know him. pull the other one, it's got bells on.
anyway, she's made her point. she's not going to hammer it in if they don't get it (and she's busy with kaladin right now). ]
And thanks! Got you good, didn't I? You definitely got a little heated with the dad stuff. Too close to home?

[ And now he's the one that feels foolish. Wasn't this conversation always going to go nowhere? They both believe what they believe, and neither of them want to change that. Besides... there's emotion when it comes to family that can so often step outside the realm of logic.
Like it does when Regis is mentioned. ]
If you're about to start trying to compare my old man to yours, don't waste your time
I wanted to have a real conversation with you, not just get a rise out of you. I get what this is

[ after all, jinx knows all about fathers. like —
her dad
colm, coming home late, tired and exhausted but wrapping his hands around her waist and spinning powder in the air. or when he's wracked with coughs, laid up in bed, his palm would press against her cheek as she laid by his side to listen to his breathing because it was one more day, one more day —or
vanderwith his large palms tousling her hair when powder rigged up the early warning system. she could feel every blunted callouses against her scalp. his gravelled voice, so much like her dad's, "I'm proud of you. That's my girl."or — silco. those early days were tumultuous. she can barely recall them. just the sound of her own screams. the tears that soaked her clothes. on those days, there were times when
powderwas so viciously angry with silco, she would beat her tiny hands against his chest and wail. the sound echoed around the room.or silco when he first took her out into the water. on a blackened night. with nothing but the mingled lights of piltover and zaun in the distance. you couldn't even tell them apart. it shouldn't have been comforting but it was. it was. silco had laid her on her stomach and she panicked. one flailing leg had hit him squarely in the chin and she recalls the audible groan of pain he made. she had gone so still then. frightened. scared. the inky dark all around them.
but then.
oh then his hands.
his hands, just like vander's, just like her dad's.
silcoheld her and she didn't drown. she never had to fear drowning ever again. ironic, considering. considering all of it.jinx is 3/3 for dads. she's an expert. in all of the ways. ]
Also bit late to want something real, isn't it?
[🔒 locked] i just have to call out what a beautiful tag that was, Jinx is so good 1/2
It's a hard victory to feel triumphant over.
Noctis never offered physical comfort to Regis, certainly no position taken up by his side even while his father grew increasingly frail year over year.
Regis didn't vocalize his pride in his son, and despite the times a cripplingly self-critical young man might've laid in bed, too overwhelmed to get up and take care of himself, Noctis manages to believe he would've wanted to.
Noctis also didn't show his anger with his father, not outwardly. Perhaps through pranks that seemed innocent but were anything but: the defacement of their ancestors' portraits or his attempts to sneak away through the royal gardens unsupervised. Anything that might get him scolded, just for a glimmer of attention amongst the criticism. Even that was rare.
Regis was a good man and as good a father as he knew how to be, in his position. And there's so much Noctis has yet to reconcile with that fact. And now, perhaps rightly, she criticizes his assertion that he's been real with her over the topic of discussion. ]
He's dead. My old man.
2/2
I think he's been an asshole to some people here, I'm not going to lie about that. But if you're seriously thinking I see you or your dad as monsters, I don't.
1/2 <33
So you know. Gotta hold onto that for dear life.
[ sucks that he lost a dad. a pang. a heartbeat. but silco — silco is the worst. he's hurt many people. he's hurt her! and he's thriving off this because it hides his true power. she probably shouldn't have reacted to begin with.
but it's all colours. shadows in the dark. faces unknown to her. she doesn't know these people. she doesn't know what they'll do, what they're capable of. it itches in her head. the fear. the paranoia.
people fear jinx's wrath (rightfully so) but what they should worry about is her fear (a hair trigger). ]
And we've already established that. A big meanie! But you're also the guy making a list of the worst people here. You're the guy who namedropped him to total strangers.
So I think when it comes down to it, that's all that's ever going to matter. And you know what? That's kind of monstrous.
2/2
What you see, what you do . . . maybe it's all true. To you. Maybe it's real! Who knows. Reasonable doubt. 50/50.
I don't know. And I get the feeling I won't find out.
[ and she's done here. she's closing this conversation. ]
