I am very sorry the flower shop was closed for most of the month. I know how important flowers are to keeping a good morale and bringing happiness to all. However, I am happy to announce it is re-opening right now under a new name:

That's right - as you may have surmised from the slogan - the flower shop is re-opening in a new location, next to the cemetery. Tsuru and I have also recruited Sophie to work with us, so we'll be more efficient with our duties. We have natural and genetically-modified flowers of all sorts, so please don't hesitate to stop by the shop if you would like to lighten up your day.

But what makes genetically-modified flowers different from natural ones?

They grow faster and last longer before wilting. They're spared the small imperfections you normally find in flowers and you can customize their size, shape, color and even scent. They're called "designer flowers."

Tsuru and I both have a soft spot for natural flowers though. They demand a lot more care and they will wilt a lot more quickly. But I find them much more beautiful, there is beauty to be found in imperfection and ephemerality.

Wow, that sounds amazing. Customizable flowers seem like they would be perfect for special occasions when you want just the right kind. Like parties or birthdays.

But natural ones sound more... genuine. Even if they need more attention and don't last as long, they're real, right? That in itself seems to make them special. I think I'd like those best, too.

Right? There are benefits to both.
But the natural ones just have a different feel to them.

Well, you're going to be working on both kind, so you'll get to see for yourself.
Speaking of which if you need help at any point, either Tsuru or I will always be at the shop during open hours.
